All Bios need to cover the Predator's face...the make it smaller is just plain dumb and stupid. That's slap in the face #1 for us Pred fans...
First look at AvP 2 !!!

I think the shoulder cannon will be on the left shoulder if you look on Planet AVP and look at the stills. The smaller pic shows the pred facing to his left with the canon on his left shoulder. (The way it is in all other movies) The larger pic was taken from a negative and looks all backwards I will bet they had the negative backwards when they printed the pic. But who knows, will wait for the movie

at this point it's hard to tell if thats i hope the rest of the preds look better than him!true photo or not.that would be cold blooded to mess with us fans like that.
but if this is real,i hope the rest of the preds look better than this guy.the alien looks a little fake as well.i can't wait to see AVP 2

I will go see it either way! The more support these films have, the more films they'll make.
I am also looking forward to the expanded opportunities to wear my Predator to the screenings, toy promos, conventions, DVDs, etc. this year! This could be an awesome chance to get the predators out in force! We should all make sure that we are aware of any press screenings, midnight showings, etc. All of the conentions this year will more than likely have some promos for the movie. Which convention (Comic Con, DragonCon) I don't know. Here in Denver, our big sci-fi convention starts in April.
Let hunting season begin...

you are right Badblood it was wayland sorry my mistake there, but it is wayland they use for the bishop model, and the guy in alien III looks loke wayland 100 % but he is not an android but if it is wayland, you are right he would be pretty old by that time...........hmm the only way that could work is that the guy in alien III is a realitive to wayland and looks like him.
he is human and not an andriod i all cases, but i can only say that you are right, alien III is happening a lots of years after AVP and wayland should be dead there by natureal causes or else he is pretty old there.

Well, Might I share some comments on this picture and on AVP. I´m glad that they changed director on this new film. Lets hope that the brother-directors can put some cool music + action in the same scene, referring to predator 2 the penthouse scene. And the biggest "NO-NO" was when scar predator became buddies with the human and they started their intergalactic hunt together

I´ll understand the smaller bio helmet ,if the predators are "teens" again: They are just growing up from their earlier armor. but it still looks a bit silly. I like the new alien , It´s has more of a comic look to it. I´m glad that the predator looks like from P1/P2: no more massive armor and bodybuilder predators. Hope that they don´t have the infamous "Jay Leno" chin...
And finally, lets change the predator sight back to blue ones ,hmm ok?

Cool pic !!! gotta agree bout the alien though, it does look a bit suspect. As for the pred he's lookin good from what i can see, my only problem with the preds in AVP was that they looked to "bulky" in comparison to the original predator who was fast, agile and sleek, surely more appropriate in the role of a hunter!!! Still, cant wait for the movie, Bring it on !!!

depends on what your talking about the lasers or plasma cannons. the cannons were both on the predator left side. but the lasers on the pred 1 were on the right side of the bio and on the left in pred 2. either way the new pred looks like it may be cool just hope the movie doesnt stink.

I, for one, am excited. I do agree with everyone's opinion in one way or the other but for the most part I'm looking foward to it. While the 1st AVP sucked in a fan based way, I still see it every once in a while and I take in the positives (new props and weapons). I also like to see the variations and the creative liberties taken with these characters. From what I can see in the picture the predator looks pretty cool. His armor and body appears more streamlined and the bio is a hibrid between a P1 and a P2 (I like the thorns on the helmet too) , so far I like it (we'll see how the rest of the suit turns out). I also like the little triangular thing his has on his chest and the dirty skulls/bones. However my hopes story wise are not to high. The only way IMO is to follow the Dark Horse AVP story. As for the alien I didnt have a problem with the new generation of aliens and personaly I like the smooth dome.

Hello! Just going to throw my two cents in...
As far as I'm concerned, so long as they keep the continuity of the character, then any movie produced with Predators and Alien is a great movie in my opinion. The story was week in AVP but the book was a great read. About the only thing that bothered me in AVP was the fact that the Celtic's Wrist blades melted right away, but the Predators spears and throwing stars didn't. Same with the chains holding the queen. If your wrist blades are your most common defense in close quaters combat, you would think that those would be the blades that you don't want to melt at first contact, same idea with the chains, holding one of the nastiest species captive, maybe a corrosion resistant material would be a good idea.
Back to the photo.... Pred looks great... maybe he's just sparring on a practice dummy alien?

It looks like the pred is squeezing the guy in the temples....Lol sorry it was the first thing i noticed and
why oh why is the bio smaller than the preds face? maybe they used the mysteria bio
personally i say skip the whole the watered down AVP series and focus on making PREDATOR 3
ok i'm going to stop busting balls, until i see the film. don't let us down strausse bros.

andrew we pasted geekdom a long time ago. a bunch of full grown men running around in predator costumes. if that dont make us geeks i dont know what does. but it keeps us young i agree andrew to the heck with AVP make predator 3.
