Not sure if anyone needs these; I screen shot these from the Archive, they're from "From Star Wars to Indiana Jones." Zenseeker.net had these images years ago, but many of the links are now broken, so I figured I'd put these up here in case they can help anyone building their own grail diary.

Starting my grail diary project, I bought 4 italian stamps to make original letters.
I purchased original book "picturesque palestine" for the map, hopefully the map will be the right one, as there was no picture of the book...
I will try to make high resolution scan, to offer pdf file.

Just thought I'd say...if you get a chance to typewrite your inserts (that are typed) I highly recommend it. Super fun and rewarding knowing it looks spot on (this is a test and I know I missed a word....lol).

I love that you can see the indentations on the front and back and see the difference between this and printed.

Also did a trial of the grail package address label. I've ordered my stamps for both the grail package and my pinkerton letter envelope! Diving in head first to the grail diary here. Hahahaha.

Thats very good, but it seems you forgot to leave more room on top, and the whole text would have been much more centered.
Can you make other on demand, with hand typed text, same for enveloppes?
I bought 20 italian stamps, all stuck together, it can make 5 accurate letters, and if I purchase one extra stamp, two more enveloppes, I also have two french notes, I can trade one for handtyped letter if you would make it for me.

I was playing around with filters on my phone and got this:



The Function equation at the end of the first line is clearer but still hard to read.

I'm tackling my first insert, the arabien letter (which is actually urdu).
Living in the middle of europe my standard letter format is DinA4. The letter from the screenshot looks smaller, might be the US letter format? But then I did some research. India as a former british colony would much rather had the british letter format which is 203 x 254mm so even a little smaller then the US letter format. I will go with that size then.
I most probably overthought this but I like the idea that I might have gotten a little closer to a story and time accurate piece.

I have a friend who will hand write this letter for me. Do you have an idea of its content?

if anyone would be ok to do handwriting and handtyping, I would be happy, I will probably post a trade post in junkyard, as I will have extra italian stamps and 100 franc french note, I will also try to find a scanner before splitting my italian stamp plate as it's very good to print and use for replica paper props, anything original I can scan, I will share in this thread

My wife can read and write in Arabic and she said the letter is completely gibberish. For my grail diary I combined the Arabic letter with the gray letter and had her hand write something for me.

There is no Arabic letter in the Grail Diary, it's written in Urdu and we've already translated some of it. But cool that's you're doing your own variations of the inserts. Customizing these props is part of makes them so fun!

Thanks a lot, I was more thinking about printed prop.
I have question about egypt and sinai map, where is it visible in the movie?
For now I have 2 french banknotes, and the map, not received the italian nor US stamps for now, but those will be delievered to my mother's house, and maybe already delivered.
