I've thought about putting a Cortez top on a Court Low sole but I don't think it would fitAt this point we all might as well learn how to cobble our own shoes too.

Price are ridiculously high on that darn shoes... need an 8 or 7.5 US size. Once i have a counterfeit fake leather from china it disarray in less than a year lol. using a Royal court since. There's a size 10 on ebay for 250 so I might offer 200 and see if they bite
Why must everything cool have to be so cheaply made!!Price are ridiculously high on that darn shoes... need an 8 or 7.5 US size. Once i have a counterfeit fake leather from china it disarray in less than a year lol. using a Royal court since.

That’s coming along very nicely, can’t wait to see the finished product! On the right track!View attachment 1911505
Close. but mine is more similar with the Bruin, no NIKE wording, no extra little swoosh and the sole was exactly the same with Bruin leather. This one, I assume?

Bull Airs just announced their Marty McFly inspired version of the Nike Bruins earlier today, if you aren’t aware of Bull Airs they do different themed versions of shoes marketed towards sneaker heads, usually Air Jordan’s. They did an Air MAG inspired AJ run recently and it sold out. Their stuff isn’t cheap!I wish getting Bruin reps wasn't so difficult. Otherwise, this is BTTF year for me!
I know it might be a little unethical, but why not sacrifice a 1983 with the correct pockets for the bottom? They seem decently plentiful, but I understand if that's anti-preservation, lol.Just a small detail to share. Due to the limitations of the fabric I supplied, there is some extra dye that is visible on the side of the pockets. They will attempt to fade it away, but I told them it's no big deal if they can't. I want the color and fade style to match so the front is all from the same type of jacket. The only part that isn't from said jacket is the back piece. I had to compromise on that.I know it might be a little unethical, but why not sacrifice a 1983 with the correct pockets for the bottom? This is my old bedroom and jacket after getting the blue parts replaced. I sold the jacket long ago.MitasTouch I know this was nine years ago, but I'm curious what this looked like, if you have any photos.![]()

Well, the quote for replacing the leather was WAY more than I was willing to pay, so it's on the Bay now.I finally have a use for this jacket! I'm going to take this to an alterations shop and get the yoke leather replaced with blue denim, just in case I can't get the upcoming HeadGoonie jacket. I might also get the body shortened and the collar edged off.

I paid 60 bucks to a local tailor when I did my 2015 HG jacket. Did they quote you more than that?Well, the quote for replacing the leather was WAY more than I was willing to pay, so it's on the Bay now.
$110 minimum.I paid 60 bucks to a local tailor when I did my 2015 HG jacket. Did they quote you more than that?
Damn. Maybe remove the leather yourself first to cut down on labor. Get a cheap seam ripper from Walmart.$110 minimum.
Even if I did that, I'd still have to replace the lining, shorten the body, and edge off the collar, and even then it has the wrong pockets. I am really holding out for HeadGoonie to pull this off right.Damn. Maybe remove the leather yourself first to cut down on labor. Get a cheap seam ripped from Walmart.
