It's always worth trying, that's how we figure this stuff out.
A few guys on Facebook said it looked like the bottom of a blower from a car. I’m not a car guy so I can’t verify that.

Success!! Now I don’t have to buy another one to cut up. I know this seems simple for a lot of you, but this is a big deal for a newbie like me. Lol.
So here's what I came up with today for the mandibles.
I measured from the tip to this piece, which I "think" is the end of the mandible.
I got 30 5/16ths for the outer. 17" for the inner, and 2" for the tip. I added 11/16th for the "pinch"
What do ya think? I need to check and see if I have enough left for this section:

Yeah so…when you’re away from your project for a while, make sure you go back and double check your measurements. Don’t try and go by memory. Here’s the revised mandible with the 2.4” front, not 2”.

Went with a 3" hole here. What do you guys think? Maybe go a little under three?
Still 3" but better I think. Camera plays tricks.
