An RPF Open Source 5 ft Millennium Falcon Build/Reference Thread. All Are Welcome

It’s not much, but a little progress on this virtual day of school.

So I've been looking for this illusive part. It's featured on the x-wing and I believe it's hidden on the docking rings of the Falcon. The first pic was posted by flintlock on the x-wing thread a while ago. The second is from the Airfix 1/76 PAnzer IV. Anyone have that kit that can check it? I know how pics and lighting can throw us off, but it seems darn close.

Thanks,
John

To me that piece looks like it's a map/chart holder. This part from a Tamiya 1/35 Lang looks close but somehow not quite right.

So I've been working on some file organization, picture taking, and behind the scenes stuff this weekend.

I've been frustrated with the speed over on Scifikitbash.com and am in the process of moving hosts. This will take a view days as the transfer process is a pain. However, in doing this ,I've noticed just how big my kit scan image files are.

I've been working to compress them so that they'll load faster without losing the details. Only now have I discovered the miracle of batch editing in Photoshop.

It will take a long time to do this, but I think it will be worth it and hope it helps folks. You will notice on my drive that I'm using the color green to denote which folders have been already compressed. Right now there is only one. :)

If you have any other ideas or suggestions, please feel free.

Thanks,
John

That happens to me all the freaking time. I've had more orders cancelled, either by the seller or eBay themselves after the item "goes missing" at their international shipping hub, than I can shake a stick at. I've even had orders cancelled by the seller after they marked them as shipped.

Then the sellers ask you to not leave negative feedback because it impacts their lively hood.

This is the Aurora Jagd-Tiger. It replaces a very hard to find original kit. Looks to be the same mold with the exception of the open space on the bottom.
