Quite slow progress this week...been working on other things alongside but the bottom half of the back fuselage is nearly done...lots of filling and sanding/painting and panel lines cut.

Thanks Halliwax, yep all by myself...and this back half seems to be taking a lot longer than I would like;

Got the bottom half painted and weathered and flipped her over to do the same on the top half;

ok time for another update...the top half of the rear fuselage is kind of done....still need to add some decals and a bit more colour. Also need to do the back panel but I will have to build a trolley to move it around first, so I can access the back. The plan now is to temporarily join the 2 halves together so I can properly tackle the cockpit and work on the canopy opening mech.

Got the droid strip done. The 'full size working astromech' is waiting at the museum to be fitted, so for now there is an Artoo shaped hole

Also, thanks for the link! It gave me a chance to try out Safari's translation mode for the first time--did the whole page in about a second. Very cool.
