Yeah....We saw them in the earlier trailer too, of course, but it's nice to have that double confirmed too....Wolverine is Wolverine with the hair, even as much as I love the full beard look.....

I'm impressed by X23 too....I wasn't expecting to enjoy watching her, but she fits right in......I enjoyed that a load and it's encouraging to see them develop a decent character, rather than just throw her in and hope her "cuteness" carries it....She's obviously a lot more than that......Well done Mangold!

Hopefully we'll see Jackman back in a small way at least, in Deadpool, but this film looks solid, and well made.......I can't wait..
 
It's also pretty cool that they're playing with the idea of the X-Men being "heroes" in their own era now...In comics too..Apparently they got Quesada to draw the cover because they haven't got the rights to the actual books from Marvel....

What that might mean, is perhaps a flashback scene or someother way for Wolverine to deck himself out in the blue and yellows....Since it's clear that that those comics draw on something, and that might mean he used it back in the day, or something close? (Maybe compensation for his healing powers now failing? Some kind of mask and armour?)

It's probably nothing....Buuuuut, Mangold WAS the man who tried that last time, even if it was left on the cutting room floor....And they must have noticed the response that got from us all.......So...Small possibility....

Based on what we can see of the movie? Perhaps unlikely....But.......Since it's the last film? Small chance? Maybe?

Here's hoping!
 
Is that comic panel from a real story? Would love to see a full shot of that suit. I hope there's cameos from the original cast, seems to be the final nail in the original cast's coffin after this. A flashback would be cool, seeing a gory end to Rogue, Logan's healing not helping her, and also causing him to lose his power in the process. Wow that sounds tragic and would fit this film so nicely
 
No...They got artists to redraw it all, but couldn't use a "real" Marvel comic, due to them not owning the comicbook rights...Only the film......So the whole thing is redrawn...Although it has Sauron on the front, and the costume too...So there's a small bit of room there it would seem....Just..They couldn't use a comic FROM Marvel......Strange eh?

I think there are many ways to go with this film that would really mark it out....The costume, or a flashback in it would be a small one (for the fans)...

Also...It seems clear that there ISN'T a worldwide holocaust situation....Just the mutants? Then? Interesting..........Looks superb as far as I'm concerned...
 
Maybe some form of Legacy virus or reverse Phoenix Force where the mutants die out while the humans remain unharmed, maybe Charles accidentally had an episode and killed them via Cerebro. Whatever it may be, it better be tragic and make us feely for the survivors
 
Yeah.....I think there's a fair chance of something like that....I'm still hoping that it's Wolverine having been pulled in and manipulated to kill them all.....Hence his self-banishment? I suspect that's TOO much, really, but it's closer to Old Man Logan, and it would fit for why only Charles and a few other, smaller, more hidden mutants exist at this stage.....

Charles also, seems to be having seizures that DO seem to affect Logan somewhat....So it may be that, on a global scale? Or a combination of the two....Interesting either way though...It's going to be a great movie.....

Although, I'm in Tokyo, so won't be able to see it until sometime closer to summer.....Which absolutely kills me......Bastards.

It's like Beast said in DOFP about changing the river current. You can change it just a bit but the flow will always return back to the way it was. That said, I'm hoping it was the Legacy virus and theres a bit about Wolverine killing Jean, Cyclops, Storm and all of them at the Mansion..This new corporation may have used Charles to make Logan kill all of them under some sort of illusiion like in Old Man Logan.

So it is suede and not leather? I can't tell from the quick trailers.
 
anyone know where to get a wolverine cowl? I'm looking for one that the maker can provide other color options. I want one to be made to look like it belongs with the X2 movie suit.
