Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

New look at Logan in "Logan"

Does it bother anyone else that in "The Wolverine" and now in "Logan" that he grows a full beard? I've always thought that Logan grew muttonchops naturally and didn't shave purposefully to make them. To me these two movies make it seem that Logan purposefully shaves and cuts his hair into the Wolverine style that we all know... which doesn't really fit with the personality of Logan for me. But that could just be me.

Nah, I'm bothered by that a little too... I can't complain, because it makes sense.. but it's not quite as "Wolverine" like as I'd like... If that's so, then he shaves every few hours into the non-chin beard?
And if so, why, in The Wolverine did his hair naturally return after the bomb to the muttonchops style?
Meh.... It's not entirely right... but.. it supports me having a full beard.. so I can't complain too much...

And even the excuse of "he's loosing his mutant powers" don't hold up because he had a full beard BEFORE meeting Viper in "The Wolverine"

I love these movies, (some more than others) but the decisions and changes in Wolverine's hair and clothes since X3 have confused me..... along with many other things, haha.

I'm sure at some point in the movie, he will shave and have the mutton chops. If he doesn't I think it's a bit BS.

I'm guessing he and Charles go ito hiding and need to do away with anything that makes them look unique (mutant) that gives them away as mutants, so he grows a regular beard. We see the "classic" tank top here, hopefully he styles his chops and hair further into the film. Damn I love this trailer, the entire film will force tears!

If this movie turns out as good as the trailer, I'm done. Man, this looked so BA. That Johnny Cash song just hit perfect!
I was actually concerned when I herd that they were going with the "Old Man Logan" story, That whole story is characters that they can't use, but it looks like they are going with an interesting direction, I just hope that they keep this tone consistent. The wolverine was great right up until the sudden left turn with the giant mech suit samurai. If they hold on to this feel, they will nail this movie.

Right, but that's my nitpick thing... I never thought Logan COULD grow a full beard. The thought of Logan grooming himself every day to have chops and the "wolverine" hair doesn't really seem to fit with the character.

On the other note..... I agree. I'm probably going to cry.

He had a full beard in The Wolverine....

I'm still caught half and half.. it's good.. because full beards kick arse, but it's not logical.. cause he gets burnt by the bomb and it regrows naturally to the muttonchops... retarded.. but.. meh.. full beards rock!!

No, I know, even for "The Wolverine" it didn't sit well with me because it didn't make sense in my head. And then they had the scene where he cuts himself shaving and I was like..... "Logan doesn't shave....."

I could be wrong, maybe somewhere in the comics he's grooming himself daily to keep up the Wolverine look.... I just always thought the chops and the hair were part of his mutation.

Either WAY, this trailer looks amazing and different and epic. I'm hoping the movie delivers.

I know that the hair is part of his mutation. I had a Wolverine comic( Wolverine 55-56, somewhere around there) where he shaves his head to go undercover and the signature hairstyle started growing back in less than a day. Jubilee even makes mention that his healing factor must be working overtime, that his do is comin back already. The chops did not grow back within that comic and in the comic "Old Man Logan" he actually has a full beard(sans mustache). I think the chops are a fashion choice, he was from an era where that was a popular style and just kept it going.

I can't believe you nerds are upset over beard hair. Get a life! Lol (insert sarcasm )
