you also need to take into consideration the lighting of the picture that you’re using as a reference. it’s in a darker area.

MrRickGrimes i decided to message fangrimes on instagram on your behalf and he told me that the lighting on the picture you like is playing tricks. the color you’re seeing isn’t actually representing what it truly looks like. i did a side by side of mine and yours and our fur is pretty close, fahdi however sent a picture of a jacket with my shearling on it a while ago in different lighting and it looked closer to fangrimes. here is an example (mine left, fangrimes right) so if ours look similar it stands to reason yours will look like this as well in the real world.

personally as i’ve said i think the result they just showed me is finally good enough for them to ship to me. As long as you’re diligent and are along with them in the creation progress you should end up getting what you want. this ONLY applies for the shearling as well . Since it’s a natural resource they are never 100% identical. just work with them and you should be ok

I definitely like the brown one. I just hit them up on Instagram, but definitely would love a good word! I normally wear a large jacket.

i was more asking about the collar, because the color doesn’t really require specific instructions
I kind of like the one on the right, only because the less nappy means more soft. Imo.
Though, judging from all your jackets, I feel my order should be submitted as custom, as these do look different than what they’re offering in the photos for the jacket on their site, so I can get a close match to both of yours.

Okay than the shearling will be ok for me and it is really the lighting what playing tricks with me. But the jacket on the pictures i got didnt have the right side/waist Pocket size and i also didnt see if they do all the double seams and the lycra longer on the sleeves. I write to fahdi again and then i will see whats happening now.

Hello, i've been reading through this thread the past day ( at work XD ), Seems a decent amount of people have gotten lucky finding the original Belfast jacket. I never knew of the original jacket's production name just known to me as "Rick's Jacket", I have seen that some people have reached out to UGG specifically in doing a "Limited Run" of this jacket, has anyone gotten any information back about this?
I'm looking to buy one of these jackets hopefully in a large ( 5'11 / 190lbs ) I will be steadily searching for an original jacket online, I have only purchased one replica leather jackets from the movie Limitless from Leather cult, very disappointed in the boxiness of the shoulders. Besides the tangent, I feel the original UGG is the way to go if you can find one, or perhaps UGG has reached out to someone proxying on all of our behalf for a run?

people have reached out to UGG and they said it would be put through the chain of command. Corporate speak for “not happening” .
