what do you think of the color? He said the lighting made the one side look slightly darker. the right side of the shearling is the real color. As i said though, that specific one that MrRickGrimes sent you isn’t actually available for us. This is just for feedback to fahdi

the color for me has always been the most finnicky thing to figure out. Filters on the show really mess with that. every real life ugg i’ve seen has a medium tan colored collar which i think that sample fur he showed matched super closely. We’ll just have to wait and see if they can find more just like that

I have read through this entire thread and I have to say, you guys are brilliant, all working together to make sure every little detail is correct and I am the same with anything like this, when I am looking at something which I want to be screen accurate, everything has to be perfect. From the diagrams you guys have come up with to getting in touch with Magnoli and Suzahdi themselves. I think it’s great.
Btw when you guys order a jacket from Suzahdi how are you guys getting your pictures sent to you to show you the progress? Do they email it to you on the email you used to purchase the jacket or do you message them on Facebook and they send you pictures of your jacket by checking the order number, cause I just bought one from Suzahdi a week ago and now I’m curious how it’s looking.

even though i joined in on this whole thing pretty late, thank you haha. I can only speak for myself in this case, but i contact Suzhadi mostly through WhatsApp. I talk directly to the man who is in charge of the tailors named Fahdi. That’s where he and i text and or talk on the phone and i’ll send pictures which we go over

Do you know if they have the shearling right yet? That’s my main concern, everything else looks really good especially that dark brown colour

well the thing with the shearling is that it’s really a case by case type of deal. They are one of the only companies that actually use genuine Toledo shearling. However they seem to have issues sometimes with sourcing consistent looking shearling as the one found on the show. Some of their jackets seem to come out fluffy with no texture , others come out with the really nice curly look, and then they always vary in color as well. However with all of that being said they most certainly will work with you to get your ideal look

I think it’s easier to buy a jacket with any sheepskin and then just order the sheepskin separately and have it sewn. I plan to do this with the wsl jacket

i mean yeah that’s definitely an approach. A few people have done that on this forum i think. Definitely is a good way to make sure it looks how you want it to
