Limited Run Vader stunt sabers kits! Barbican, Severed hand and ANH square shroud version

thank you for the last few interest post guys!
I'll be closing down the interest at noon here, in 1h30, that should be the end of the May the fourth worldwide I guess :)
so, last call for this run!
cheers

Interest is now closed for this run!

Thank you all for making this possible, really appreciate it. Now I have some work to do!!
so, although it started a bit slow, in the end, the interest is slightly larger than anticipated, so the production is going to take a bit of time, I hope you'll stay with me until the end as this run is a big investment for me!

Projected Release date: First half of August
This is a if-everything-goes-well planning and I'll try my best to stick to it but please bare with me in case of slight delay :)

As always, I'll be updating probably a lot while producing the parts :)
For anyone that hasn't completely read my long introduction on the first post, everything is machined by me in my small workshop in the south of France. This is all made by hand on manualy opperated machines, just like the original Barbican was made :)

cheers

First early announcement:

The total run is 85 sabers (interest:70), amongst those numbers, I'll be offering a limited amount of finished hilts for people that don't feel like assembling the kits :)
(10 Barbican, 10 square shrouds, 5 Severed hand, all to be confirmed)
I think the final price for this will be calculated after they are finished to be completely accurate with the time spent on those. They will be released at the same time as the whole run.

I'll be adding a few spare parts on the website with the run. not many though I think.
- A few round corners shrouds
- extra plugs as seen on the Barbican that will be compatible with my 3 kits in case people prefer to have a square shroud with a closed end for instance.
- a few activation boxes
- possibly a few severed hand Dring greeblies
that should be it for now :)

I hope a few people will be excited by the finished hilts :) They should be relatively close to what I have shown on the prototypes I think as i was super happy with the result :)
cheers

Thanks for doing this Matthieu! Super excited to watch the run progress

Oh no, I caught this too late. Will there be there a waitlist?
Sorry that you missed out,
Yes, I can write down a backup list even if I have no idea how I will handle all of this as I have to sell through my website.
Please write what version(s) you want.
Cheers

Just placed an order for 1229€ of metal! I always order from this seller as he is just perfect, however, this is the first time I order that much and I don't even have any idea of the crazy weight that package will be or how it will be delivered! I'll be sure to update you guys on the delivery because it will probably be something serious!

Now to figure out a way to handle the fact that my pro bank account just went negative for the first time... I see a lot of drama lately with how some runs are handled with pre-orders and everything, I never did that and am paying for everything up front all the time, but I can tell you guys, it's never easy!

cheers!

Thank you. I am interested in both the square shroud and the Barbican versions. Debating on whether to get both, but square shroud for sure.

Please put me down as interested in a finished and weathered Barbican saber pending confirmed pricing. Thanks!

Hello there,
I finally received my big aluminium order! it's always stressful when you are waiting for such a large order and, of course, it didn't go as smoothly as usual smaller orders. I received the first part on Friday, I wasn't made aware it was shipped in several packages, the first one had just 2 of the big 50x50mm square bars for the emiters. 29kg for just those two bars!
so, I started cutting them immediately while waiting for the rest of the order:

the rest of the order finaly came today afters days of back and forth that I didn't understand...
but here it is, so all good now!

also received a cool package from Wannawanga :) this is only for the few assembled kits that I will offer, but it's pretty cool to see all those grips and bubbles :)

alright, now I can get to work for real!

timing update:
The aluminium order took much longer than anticipated and I'm trying to catch up on the Padme blasters at the same time, so the run is already slightly delayed.
So, I think the main part of the run has to be expected for the end of August at least. However, what I'll do is that I'll finish the Square shroud kits first as they have less parts and open the sale to the people on the list that only requested a Square shroud. I can't say when for sure, but I will keep people posted :)

Also, I have found a very secure way to make sure that the sale is only opened to the people from the list at first since the interest for the run is a bit bigger and might continue to grow with time. No worries, if you are on the list, I would just need that you be ready to buy when they are released as I wont be able to reserve them indefinitely, but only the persons from the list will be able to see the sabers page on the website when the time comes, so no worries there :)
after some time has passed, I will open the sale to everybody with what is possibly left and add a few spare parts as well.
cheers

Hey there,
not much very sexy to show for now, but I'm making my way through all the stuff that needs to be done when starting a project! it's both fun and stressful as there is a plenty of stuff to do which is gratifying, but you can also get slightly lost with everything. You also get that weird feeling that there is 3 months of work ahead but somehow you feel it's going to be done in a couple weeks because you get a lot done at first :)

anyways, I'm cutting, drilling, turning faces clean!
one thing I haven't anticipated is that my workshop is very small and i'm going to run out of space just stocking the parts while they are being worked on!
