Tombstone Val Kilmer / Doc Holliday Costume

One of my Doc Holliday outfits is coming together, but I’m still getting the shirt, pants and jacket custom made, the vest is the closest I could come up with :)

Great costume for sure:cool::cool:(y)(y)...really close to the original. Buttons on the original vest are convex in shape while yours have a little concave look;)
Buttons like these can be difficult to get sometimes:(
You are correct on the buttons, as this was the closest I could find to match Val’s. I wish I had detailed photos of the original vest as I would have had this one custom made as well, but unfortunately I just didn’t have what I needed to pull this off. This vest is just one I bought and had altered to make it look somewhat like Val’s :)

I have to wonder when the details are enough ! I think you all know I'm mr . Shoddy on this stuff but still enjoy a good enough outcome...like my wyatt Buntline is a 7 1/2 inch barrel not 10 ... Never bothers me just lucky to get it ! I'm never going to high details level but that's because I'm only playing with my toys ! To each his own and again if your Doc was dropped in to the TombStone movie actual it couldn't be spotted as different !

As you know a massive bladerunner fandom is on here going in to minute details of the gun. I got a hard cast rubber job for like 50 Bucks painted and weathered it one and done ! That's my blaster no headaches !

I beg to differ sir, although my wardrobe is pretty nice, it is far from the original. Now I know that I will never own the original stuff, but my end goal is to have the closest thing as I can get to the original :) Sometimes I think it is the thrill of the search trying to find or make this stuff that keeps me going ;)

Your level is whatever works for you. Yours is a darn fine outfit that's for sure !

My second Cravat/Tie :)

This is the closest fabric I could come up with, as the original fabric just couldn’t be found.

Pay no attention to the wardrobe it is paired with, as this is all going to the wayside once the correct items arrive.
