Jordan, it looks like the movies on you! So close to your skin!
It may be a little tight, but I think better like this than like most I've seen that have a lot of space between their face and the helmet. I'm glad you got to fit it just right!

I Know I've been superbusy with my stuff, but that suit and that helmet is Awesome! GJ. Is by far the best Eva suit i've seen. Its hard to produce anything in fiberglass and the meduim's we use regarding these builds. It just shows the talent we all have hidden inside us! You, Don, Stef, Myself, Fin, Surreal, IdeFilm, and a long list of others never knew we'd do anything like what we've seen. I'm Telling you RPF needs to have a Convention of some sort, so we can get together! finish it now! BTW that video will be available for Stef on Sunday! A Eva suit is in my future I just hope I can produce one as CLEAN AS YOURS! Keep Building!....:love

GJ should be getting commission from foam dealers these days. I swear his work makes anyone viewing it want to drop their build materials and covert to the 'dark side'. It certainly made ME convert mid-project! thumbsup

Ha! Thanks. Let's just hope I can do more than raw build. You Jonathan are a master of prepping, priming and painting this stuff. I can only hope mine will be a fraction as good.

P.S. I slathered on the 2 part epoxy to a test piece of foam... let it cure a full 24 hours.. well almost that... then hit it with Krylon Fushion paint.. just the normal kind not even the plastic kind... let that dry and it's smooth, shiny and the paint is gloss.... best part of all.. I took that piece of foam bent it into a circle and really beat it around and neither the paint or epoxy chipped.

The legs are look awesome! :thumbsup

looking amazing jordan your build is so aggressive love it!!.. you, indie, and stealth seriously is major inspiration on my foam build i just hope i can get mine as fitted as your's is to you. Since your using the krylon fusion paint instead of the method that indie does do you already know which color your planning on using?

Yep. If you epoxy (or resin) coat the pieces, you can apply the auto paint directly to it. I did that with the handplates for Mikey's suit - It worked GREAT!

I would still suggest adding a layer of adhesive promoter to the epoxy/resin before hitting it with the final paint. I think the effects are felt as the paint hardens over the next few days. It might harden to the point of cracking a bit without a good locking layer. Just a thought.

This is both inspirational and upsetting I would LOVE to get my hands on one of those helmets, but affording it (especially living in the US) is another matter entirely

Damn you beautiful bastards with your talent and disposable income!

I have my own foam MK VI armor going at the moment. It's going pretty well but it is no where near the quality of this build. Nice work man I can't wait to see this ******* finished!

Edit: Bastards as a plural is a-ok, but the singular ******* is not kosher. Z(^_^Z)
