The Wand Company TOS Tricorder is coming!

But this one has SOUND! ;)
So does then original I had lol. My original is a D Stines from when they made a handful of them. My only issue with this is that the rubber doesn't seem very secure against the main body and I can hear the internals moving around when you change angles. The original seems more solid that's all

Yep, but at least I will be able to pilot my shuttle without glasses from now on.
ahh, I had Lasic Surgery about 16 years ago, I'd never go back. But I needed readers way before my time. A few years later one of my eyes reverted so now I have mono vision, one eye sees far and one near. It took a while to get used to but I do have the best of both worlds from an old technology. I can get by without readers or distance glasses but I have a pair for each that helps make it more comfortable for certain situations, like shooting or reading spreadsheets. Unfortunately my dominant eye is still the reader so I can't shoot a rifle very well without a scope or my glasses for far sight. I can see the end of the barrel ok, but the target is a little blurry. I guess now they can just put new lenses inside your eyes that work for both Far and near sight.

I tried to get in on that Trek Classic Med Scanner, but never got a response back.

I did however miraculously snatch up one of those that Gary Tierce put up on the Junk yard and its freekin awesome, I think it looks better than the Trek Classic one, the body is cast resin, not 3d printed. The sound is very good as well. I also have the science scanner by Correlian Exports, that one is BEAUTIFUL!

I keep checking to see when it ships, the blue line was very short yesterday but as it get closer to shipping, the blue line moves towards the
shipping mark

(for color blind people, that would be the green line, the grey line above that is just a yellow highlight I added) :)

That’s the same delivery time I’m getting. Kind of sweating it though. Not sure what delivery service they will be using. I’m going to be away starting the 6th. If it’s USPS or UPS I can get it delivered to a UPS store or have USPS hold it. Haven’t found a way to redirect it it’s delivered by Amazon.

do you have a picture of the Dstines one? I have an old one that looks like it might be an HMS or maybe a Dstines,

Where I live Amazon is delivered by USPS . I believe USPS is now delivering most of Amazon stuff .

That's odd. Mine is very secure and nothing rattles around at all.

Check the metal plate with the USB-C hole in it. It seems like it’s just placed in there loosely. See if that’s rattling, and if you can tuck it down a little tighter.

It took me a while to get the dang dividers in, I'm not even sure if I got them in correctly. I would have preferred if they just built them in the compartment.

I didn’t have mine snapped in place properly and noticed when I opened the back panel. It’s easier to snap those back tabs in the slots when that door is open.
