The Wand Company TOS Tricorder is coming!

The U.S. Court of International Trade, just struck down some, or the “retaliatory” tariffs. The decision stated “The Worldwide and Retaliatory Tariff Orders exceed any authority granted to the President by IEEPA to regulate importation by means of tariffs”. Looks like the 10% remains?

Calc this out, dearest in-house economists

That's all well and good but the White House is appealing the ruling but I guess for now the old tariffs are still in effect which I hope means the price in the US might only be $385 plus tax if they get sold as soon as possible.

I don't think so, though I wish it was so.
I believe the 30% was already collected when they were imported.

Can anyone clarify?

We'll have to see what happens--the administration will likely ask for a stay of the injunction pending appeal, and those are usually granted. And depending on how long the appeal takes, with a stay in place the tariffs could very well remain in effect for the foreseeable future. The there's the 90-day window in effect for the China tariffs anyway. It's going to be a long, bumpy ride.
