I sent him a follow-up message asking if those shipments are specifically for the Amazon UK listing. Haven't heard back yet.

Never mind, lol. Just went back to their blog, this was his reply to my question:

So anyone able to buy through the Amazon UK listing should keep a close eye on it in the next few days then.

On the bright side, they're blowing them out the door--great news for more props in the future, maybe even the much-sought-after phaser reissue!

As for the tricorders, there are many more coming, and if those sell out, more after that...

After all, Kingsley Shacklebolt warned them!

But my card has been charged, so there's been that much movement with my order at least.

So my wife brought up an interesting point. She said, “Best Buy sold the phasers and then clearenced them out. Same for the communicators. Do you think they will sell the tricorders as well?”

They sold out the Amazon UK stock again, in one day. That is amazing news. They now have every company's dream problem--they can't keep product on the shelves. They'll keep making more to fill demand, and that's great news for the future. More cool replicas down the road from Wand. I am massively stoked. Maybe they'll do that phaser re-issue after all...

I don’t believe they’re gonna be sold through those type of retail outlets this time.

The initial run was 10,000 units. Enough for everyone who registered interest with a couple extras.

If there is a demand, they can always run additional units, but it’s going to depend on demand before they create more supply.

And if it’s a case of them having to order another 10,000, but only 1200 people want them, a second run probably would not happen.

I’ve already run my battery down twice and had to recharge it. I love that it can give me barometric pressure, and temperature readings. However, I don’t know how to translate Celsius to Fahrenheit.

So I live in the desert, and see that it’s 38°, but my body is telling me something completely different. At least from an American point of view.
