Nothing like some good old Slap Shtick……a lost art in comedy! You won't get mine!
I'm so confident I'm getting one, I've just finished drafting all eight of my Personal Log entries. I'm very happy with them, they're allegedly hilarious, and definitely inappropriate for posting here!
As it is, one of them has me getting a visit from Starfleet HR...

You just type in Amazon UK in search and then enter your US credentials to log in.How do you set up the UK account, given you have a US one?
I just logged in normally with my regular Amazon credentials. It even still had my US payment card already set up. Amazon.co.uk.How do you set up the UK account, given you have a US one?
Interesting question. Maybe because the tricorder is a more complex product, so they're hedging against further delays? Just guessing.I don't know why they can't make it available to order now, I ordered my Wand Fallout Pip boy over a year in advance
Interesting. Did you have to leave a down payment? Cause maybe they didn't want to take pre order payments for the Tricorder?I don't know why they can't make it available to order now, I ordered my Wand Fallout Pip boy over a year in advance
Umm thanks for the reply....then I'm not sure whey they didn't take pre orders. It would have calmed a lot of people down though for sure if they had. Either way I am hoping for a smooth process...hoping.No, I ordered it on Amazon last year, the card was not charged until it shipped. It showed in my orders as being delivered in may of 2025, but I got it a few weeks ago.
Same for me.I just logged in normally with my regular Amazon credentials. It even still had my US payment card already set up. Amazon.co.uk.
Go back, hit play….Jaws music with it?
Well, let's not go crazy. Remember TWC has said that the certificate numbers are around 10X higher than actual registrations, and what they haven't said is not everyone who registered will still want or be able to buy a tricorder.
I clearly remember not terribly long ago when I saw TWC communicators piled up in the discount bin at Best Buy for $75. I still kick myself for not buying a couple.
All I'm saying is, 10K tricorders is a lot of tricorders, and demand may not be that big after all. The first wave may sell out quickly, but subsequent waves may well slow down. We'll see.
Oh, I'm sure they'll make a profit--but they don't have to sell out the entire run in order to do that. Anyway, we'll see.Either way, for Wand the tricorder may exceed previous phaser and communicator sales……it’s money in the bank
