^ This...

If I find a decent cast at some point I may consider taking on this project possibly in a different material then foam... I don't even wanna attempt sculpting the helmet though

Re: Guyver *WIP*

Very VERY awesome!
You really have made a work of art there my friend.
The way you have approached the build has been truly eye opening. I'll be borrowing a good few building techniques from you, and for that I thankyou sir!!
Definitely the best looking lamborghini I've seen in a long time! ;)

Re: Guyver *WIP*

Haha... you can do this... very easy. Just time consuming little dots that suck away your time... and find a helmet. I appreciate the compliment!

Tonight when I finish work. My second batch of silicone arrived today so I'll put the last layer on tonight and then make the rigid jacket. I've been very scared of using silicone since I had a rubbish time of it a few years back but the stuff i'm using is the same Xrobot used on his iron man build and it's great. I haven't sculpted the horn or the breather unit's yet. I plan on doing them and the control medal, sonic orbs, and the side head orbs seperately.

Thanks mate. Honestly it's a miracle I managed to save it. I had 95% of it completed but because it was in water clay it dried and cracked about 2 years ago. I found it in a black bin bag in my parents attic with some boxes of my stuff. I had to do some patient work getting the clay soft enough to work again, and it's now repaired to where i'm happy with it.

Not to hijack this thread, Durkness have you took any more pics of the suit in better lighting? And could you get some close up shots of the armour as well when you've got time?

Cheers mate.
