The Definitive Marvel's Daredevil thread

Very late to this thread, but if anyone is still interested in a Red Suit, costumereplicave has created a screen printed suit which looks extremely accurate in my opinion

Along with that suit, Migran studios has also created what is, in my opinion, the most accurate daredevil cowl there is

Cox even tried it on and said it was the best he’d seen:

Does anyone know what the red shirt is that Matt is wearing underneath his sweatshirt in the final episode?
I know this post is super old, but I figured I'd reply for future reference, if anything. I actually own one of the screen used shirts now from the recent auction. It's had the tags cut out so I can't give a lot of information other than it's very thin and doesn't have a standard t-shirt stitch design.

Hey all, I think I tracked down the correct season 3 James Perse pants, or, at least one of the two. These are dark grey, drawstring waist, tapered, no belt loops, have the correct pockets, and are a rough material that I think match screen grabs. I think the other pair are more of a jogger/sweats material, but I can’t tell for sure. I just ordered my pair on Poshmark, so l can’t look at them in person. There’s another pair on eBay rn with a 34 waist.

Yes, this thread can be used for both Suits. I'll add in the Red suit components or fabrics as they are identified.

Just a quick find from me. Not 100% confirmed yet, but this belt looks really close.

Canvas Cotton Web Belt 60" One Size Matte Silver Military Buckle.

I’m not familiar with this website, but for the boots it’s says bates E02261 but the picture of item that’s Listed is the bates E02263 so I’m just confused as to what is the actual screen matched boot?

NLYO3, At a quick glance, the E02261 and E02263 essentially look identical. The difference is the composite/safety toe in the E02263, which will give a slightly bulkier toe.

There are a few minor differences with stitch lines and other little things, but it’s close to impossible to find a screenshot from the show that gives a good look so I might end up just having to flip a coin on which one I buy

Have you looked at the costume auctions? Looks like the regular toe version to me.
You’re right I’m definitely certain it’s the same one. One thing that confused me is I looked at the ‘trapped’ suit, and it seems to be an entirely different pair of boots, but looking at the damaged suit from ep 13 of season 1 pretty much confirms that it’s the regular toe version

A friend won one of the season three black suits in the prop auction, and they sent me this picture of the tag for the James Perse pants. From what I understand he wore several different James Perse pants throughout the season, but this identifies at least one

Oh awesome, thank you

Also, I won one of the sweaters, rope gloves, and black masks from S3, and I’ve seen a couple posts about the red shirt he wears underneath it. The brand is Vilebrequin. I haven’t been able to find a shirt that matches, but maybe someone else can. They actually just cut off the collar and sewed it inside the sweater.

Wow you truly are a lifesaver, one guy posted a picture of the red shirt, but of course the tag was cut off so that basically left me at a dead end. I’ve been on and off trying to find the pieces for the S1 and S3 suits, but since the season 3 suit is a lot more ‘basic’ I guess? It’s been harder to identify anything from it especially the shirt and pants.

You’ve given me a lot of information way more than I had before, but did your friend mention anything about a belt with their pants that they got?

Just to confirm, the correct sweater has been identified, it’s the Model# 100639: Carhartt Base Force® Cotton Super-Cold Weather Crewneck Top. As far as the logo on the bottom near the hem, just get it tailored to be shorter and remove the tag. The one on the show looks shorter and there’s no sign of the tag. It will have a logo on the back of the neck, but that can be removed with acetone. You’ll still have a bit of discoloration where it was, but that’s actually on the one from the show too
