The Definitive Marvel's Daredevil thread

My Dune ones arrived today. I've never owned a pair of G-Star before but these are definitely quality pants. I may need to get the waist altered before I do anything else, but wanted to say thanks - the DressCode website shipped it fast (2 days).

Is that the 8840? I'm surprised that it has the McDavid logo on the front - in the pictures the logo has always been on the arm...

Yup. Here's the box that it came in ImageUploadedByTapatalk1431561406.730289.jpg

Also the logo came off easily with a little nail polish remover.

Just found out Blender's exported OBJs retain their coloring :D

Almost done with this very tedious unfold. The countersunk holes for the hex nuts have been omitted from the print pages; rather than engage in that kind of lunacy, I think it'd be much easier (with less risk of warping) to just drill those out after the piece has been hardened.

I think I'll be done before the end of the day!

Looks great! I'd love to take a stab at this once it's finished!

Hey guys! I asked this earlier but I didn't get a reply. Has anyone come up with a pattern to cut for the cloth mask? I'd prefer not to use the leggings method.

So these guys at ComicWow loved my black mask suit so much they put me in a video. Just went to their studio for a tour and to film some clips. It was so fun.
I'll post the videos when they upload them.

For the shoot, I made some temporary baton holsters. Bought a bunch of straps and clips. After working with these, I have a grasp of how I want to make screen accurate ones. Lots of e9000 glue, and sewing adhesive and an iron. For the screen accurate one, I'll probably do the same techniques.

The baton holsters I used were these. I bought two, partially cut one of them then glued them together. It looks pretty clean, of the holster I cut up, I took the stitching out and re-used the little cloth that wraps around it so it looks like one piece all around.

Glad I could help! Mine "dune" ones should arrive today; I'll post a picture along with the Arsenic green pair. Out of curiosity, what size would be ideal for you?

Cowl and simplified scaler version fully done. I know some people were hoping to get these files for free, but the same bills that stopped me from doing a 3D print are necessitating I sell my helmet files. Sorry, guys :(

Here's my progress. Not screen accurate naturally.
Still need to make my holster which I will make by attaching fabric straps with clips to my nunchuk holster.
Mask will be made out of a Heattech shirt, which should arrive any moment.

Where can you obtain straps? Like the ones found on backpacks?

You mean nylon webbing? Joann's or eBay... that's where I get mine.

Started a thread for my helmet files. Feels weird. Real weird. I've sold a lot of digital content, I don't know why this seems different.
