Without a pair in hand (as opposed to touched up product shots) is it possible the poly zipper backing just shows up as having a greenish tint under certain lights? I've owned enough black clothing to know that something that looks perfectly matched under fluorescent lights can look totally mismatched under incandescent bulbs or natural lighting, so on and so forth.
Are you guys positive the pants are G-star? Reason why I'm questioning this is because of the quote:

That sounds like they did NOT go with G-Star. Given that those pants are $150'ish, not easy to find, etc, it would suck to buy them and find out there is some 30 dollar pair that is actually screen accurate.

There has to be two different versions with the red stich + hexagon pattern. The version I have is a crew neck, hexagon pattern, but has a red "M" on the front instead of the pure white M as in that picture.

I have been through every link on the first five pages of a Google search consisting of "g-star raw 3d powel tapered 81105c-5352". Everything I found was either WAY too small or not the right type of pant. I found a site yesterday with the green colored ones with the silver zippers for $79.99 out of China that was just a tad too big, and now I'm kicking the crap out of myself for not jumping on it. Anyone else having any luck at all who could perhaps point me in the right direction?

I am in the same boat. I went even further and checked the first 15 pages in google.com and google.de.....
Nothing.....I could find some but not in my size... this sucks big time.... I advise people to check their local g-star stores and ask there. The other thign is that the pants originally came out in January 2014 so stock is almost at zero everywhere.

The pants are still out there if you dig! They're older and hard to find, but when you find fashion pants that are out of date they're also usually on sale or clearance. These are on sale.
You can buy them in tan here:

That second site (rafaello) does not have it in stock, when you go to select a size, the drop down doesn't offer any options. As far as the tan ones, I'm curious if you were to dye it , would the material that holds the zipper dye too or would it remain tan? My initial guess is that it won't dye, but I don't know for sure.

Finally got my compression shirt. Unsurprisingly, compressionsale.com sent me the wrong one. Given I'm in Australia, I don't know if it's even worth contacting their customer service to try and rectify this. They sent me the 8800R rather than the 8840R listed as their McDavid Performance Compression Shirt (So McDavid logo instead of the hex pattern). Though what was the product number for the red stitched shirt with the hex pattern again?
Guess I'll stick to the plain black shirt with red stitching I got off Amazon at the beginning.
Good find on the pants! I found a couple of local outlets I'll call tomorrow to see if they have the pants in stock. Most of the online vendors have them waaay too small for me, even after I've been losing weight
Stupid question now probably; but wheres the best website to get the forearm padding and gloves from? Should I buy from Amazon or elsewhere?

The zipper mount fabric may be more resistant to dye than cotton, but then it may be a heavy cotton too - many high-end zippers are. I'm sure we can color that inch of fabric one way or another! I'd also bet that the buttons turn black in the dye.
I ordered a green pair from rafaello (though through the chinese link) last night. It'll be interesting to see if they're able to fill the order or not. In any case, the tan ones are still at Dress Code!
