Spider-man (Raimi) 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

Thanks!
I sized it for someone around 6'.
If I remember correctly, there is a chart or something in a thread here that tells you if you measure from the middle face to the point on the bottom of the belt it should be ____? I am sure someone here has seen it and can point you in the right direction.

EDIT:Found this for you.

...and this is from here: spiderman suit in Hall of Costumes Forum

The way to resize Spiderman patterns is fairly simple once you know where to measure.

There's a point in between where the eyes are (and the costume's mask kind of pulls apart) that's the top of the line you're going to measure. The bottom is just under where the red belt stops.

Here's what I mean.

For a large costume, that length needs to be 29". For a medium 27". For a small 25". A lot of spiderman suit makers will tell you they have custom patterns, but after hanging out for years on the SHH forums, I've been told by more than one source that these three lengths are all they use.

Hope that helps. Oh also, you might want to make sure the saturation on your file gets set to 100% (this may mess with the colors, but you can fix that afterwards)

I'm making the suit for someone around 5' 3", could you please help me on, how would i resize it?

Here's using the positioning ken posted, confused about what do you mean about the spider and neck and why it needs to positioned where it is.
Will post a download to the psd soon, theres just no layers. I flattened/merge the layers for my ease of use.

No problem buddy :)
Don't know if its perfect or how its going to print, so if you print it and it doesnt come out perfect dont kill me. :p

I see the bottom of the front spider is not centered with the central webline, and when you print and sew this it can't be corrected i think as instead can be done with the top legs.
Correct me if i'm wrong...

just as a precaution, i wouldn't print the suit using that spider, the reason being is that it isn't accounting for the neck dart that you will sew up which brings together the webbing at the top of the chest. if you use that spider when you pull in the neck dart it will pull in the legs of that spider too and it will look wrong. you need to use something like this...

you can see on this print that i have that the printed spider is split and has its own dart section in it to account for the neck dart. i am using kens spider's at the minute also for my suit but i wont print using them, i will have to make my own spider in photoshop similar to the one on this print. to be clear this is a spidey4fun print i bought a while back that he was selling cheap because it didn't come out right.

Hi, and wow the color look great, can you tell me the color code and where did you get it print ?

hey, this isn't a file i got printed, it isn't ken's file. if you read the last line of my post i state its a spidey4fun print that he was selling off cheap due to not flaws. i have no idea what the colour code is or where it was printed. thats spidey4fun's trade secrets. i highly recommend his suits.

Yes on this picture i did a comparison, On the left is your and on the Right in Ken, as you can see i pointed the number:
1 ( yours in not centered on bottom web line and you can't move it after it is printed and sewn) and important is not splitted!
2 found later the top legs on yours are curved, instead Ken have modified those so they will bend when sewn

Also the color is different Ken added a shiny silver effect( thank you Ken) and your is black.

I hope this clarified the situation, and as it is i would not recommend print your. But maybe i'm wrong...tank you for your effort.
Those are only my thoughts...anyway and Ken can give more light on us :)
Spider Error points.jpg

If anyone is interested i did all the modification and had put the spiders (front is splitted) as Ken's suggested position, let me know in i will post the JPG

Not putting a link for this yet until I have it done and as perfect as I can make it, any feedback on how it looks?
Anyone what exactly the color for the spider on the symbiote suit is? The same color as the original suit? Silverish? Not sure exactly.
Here's what I think the color is according to google images and brads suits.
The next question is the webbing should it be a lighter grey/white or the same color as the spiders?

and now the webbing being a lighter grey/ whiteish color

Alright guys, this is just about the final product for both symbiote and red/blue
Once I get kens approval of they're perfect or as perfect as its gonna get will post both flattened jpg's.
I've raised the spiders on the back to a higher, proper position I believe. This was done by using references from the movie and other patterns.
