Spider-Man: No Way Home

My only thought about this movie so far is that this is next-level nostalgia bait.

I think it's mostly to the Raimi people (me) to draw their interest. I think that's carrying much, if not, all of the excitement for this entry because those first two films were genuinely good. The gap between the Amazing Spider-Man and Homecoming weren't that far apart so I don't think nostalgia for those are a possibility. To be frank even further, I've yet to meet a person that could openly say-- in good conscious and in utter sincerity---that the Garfield/Webb films were great, or even enjoyable. The best thing I've heard anyone say of them is that the costume from the second film is the best/closest-looking to the comics.

I cant wait. I'm very interested in seeing Doc Ock as I've been a very big fan of that design for a very long time. Already I can see that the arms are different in a lot of ways so I wonder how that's going to play out for all those that make and sell 3d files of these things.
I want to see the goblin, he’s been my favorite forever

Sorry PPP. , but I kinda liked the Webb movies :cautious: eventhough in some ways it deviates from the comics/Raimi movies, I thought Gwen was an asset if not eye-opener, webshooters rather than glands were in line with the comic, and I thought the tone was more mature/serious than the first movies.

That being said, I still like every single Spider-man movie made after 2000 and the Raimi franchise was a class apart for sure. The only thing I didn't like about the first franchise were the lenses (I prefer the wide Mark Bagley lenses) and the third movie plot.Other than that : funny and action-packed.

I like Doc Ock's reappearence in the upcoming movie and really hope Marvel will keep making Spider-man movies, because in general that concept never gets old

Saw this today and see no one has said anything about it.
Real or fake?
No idea, but seeing as how they are dealing with the multiverse, it would be a bit of a waste to not actually have the other Spider-mans do something cool together, even if its like the last 5 mins of the movie.

Since Jacob Batalon/Ned lost a lot of weight in real life because he got fed up with all the abuse on twitter, and the fact that Ned was the Hobgoblin in the comics, could he conveniently appear as a green/ hobgoblin in one of the multiverses? That'd be dramatic having to fight his best friend...

Ok, I don't want to SPOILER the new trailer, but...

It does NOT answer the "big" question many have had.
And the MJ/Gwen Stacy "incident" is just too derivative.
But it DOES appear to tie-in to the ending event of Loki., in a way...

The trailer does seem to showcase an event with a very similar locale and lighting scheme as the spoiler photos. We'll see...

Never watched Loki, can you explain maybe spoiler tag it?

Peter: There has to be another way.

Strange: There isn’t.

My fear is that Peter will be forced to sacrifice himself by getting himself stuck in one of the multi-verses to bring the other ones back with him. Hence Tom Holland is taken out of the MCU!

At the end of Loki, when Sylvie kills He Who Remains and the Multiverse starts to reopen there is a sort of blue branching effect that happens, which is visually similar to what we see in this trailer at the end.
