I’d vote yea (to change the logo to approximate the logo of the screen hat as much as possible), including bringing that left prong of the Y closer to (almost on top of) the N, but I’d like to hear what the rest of the group thinks. What was the serif tail change that you were thinking of?

After having closely compared the two logos, I've decided to completely redraw it!

Yeah that looks way closer. My only comment would be whether we want to move the left prong of the Y closer to the N. In the screencap below it looks to me like the Y is almost on top of the N. I wouldn’t say to put it totally flush against it but pretty close.

The more I go back and forth between the screencaps and your redesign, I have to say, you got it really close. Great job on the tails.

Yeah, I think getting them to touch is probably dangerous stylistically, better to leave even a small cap. From different angles, the gap will seem smaller since the thread sticks out a bit, if you know what I mean. As it is, the factory is giving me a hard time about changing the logo since they've already started the embroidery.

It's a synthetic blend with the printed pattern on it. I'll get some closer photos showing the weave, etc.

Not really... but should definitely be reasonable by most standards.

Agreed. Colors look great. Great job. Bit of a nitpick, but is the location of the pinstripes set in stone? I was just thinking that the pinstripes in the film version straddle the logo.

The stripes placement will vary from cap to cap and also depending on the size. The spacing is accurate, but where each stripe falls will vary. The main thing we're trying to keep consistent is the symmetry.
