Unlimited Run Rick Deckard Blade Runner 1982 Trench Coat By ELS

Sorry for all the confusion about the sleeve lining. I DID indeed mean I would like satin in the sleeves as others have suggested.

You're good, bubba. I knew what you meant. We've all been there. You don't know how many times I've done the same repeat. Heck, I don't even know. Countless in the "talking with your thumbs" world we live in lol

Hello everyone,
A small updates, Mitch LaRue and I think dirtyjawa asked lower pocket and chest pocket should be straight as I draw.

But it' not correct, chest pocket and lower pocket won't be in straight position.
Please check this film image,

Pocket position would be change as per size.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say below the belt is being pulled forward sightly. You can see the creases pulled in that direction.

Then I'll raise the stakes by showing it hang straight without belt tension.

I just went a step further and added a small grid that lines up straight with the lower jacket pocket.

Notice it almost lines up with the top pocket. The top pocket being ever so slightly forward towards the opening of the coat. But look at the edge of the coat with the buttons. It is pulled forward and rolls in the area by the top pocket.

Here's the grid following the buttons. Pulls in to the right at the same spot the top pocket is pulled sightly forward.

I think they line up.

My gut tells me you're both sort of right. I'm not sure the grids on the untied pictures of the coat account for the drape of the fabric while being worn. I think the pockets probably lined up, but they made the jacket to look a certain way rather than to make sense from a garment construction point of view, so every reference is likely to look a little different. With that said, I'll go with the group consensus on the issue, whichever that may be.

This image really shows how much space there is between top pocket and front buttons. I myself don’t care about functionality for those pockets, I’d rather have an accurate jacket. I prefer inside breast pocket for phone, keys and wallet.

A few more rare pics to talk over the details.

Note the pleat in the center back in that first image.

Also good shot of how the chest pocket and the bottom pocket relate to each other.

And a nice color balanced BTS photo showing minimal stage lighting.

Enjoy. :)
