Unlimited Run Rick Deckard Blade Runner 1982 Trench Coat By ELS

Hey Jamesfett,

If you run for anything, you get my vote. If you ever write a book, I will buy two copies. All based on your comment "I'm like, enough already, mystery solved. Start sewing."

And dirtyjawa,

I've wanted a copy of the blaster and the coat since I saw the film in 1982. Back then, pre-internet, no one knew many details on either. It was years before I came across a 5th or 6th generation casting of the stunt blaster. Worked my way up to a Tomenosuke. And now, thanks to all the help here, and the extreme talents of Jameel Ur, coats will be out soon.

Keep dreaming and keep saving.

Cheers.

Jameel Ur,

Would it be worth it to you to post a few pictures and a note about the research done here in the "Costuming" thread? It make spark more interest right here on the board and get us closer to the 10 order minimum.

Just a thought.

You mean, I have to post on costumes section.

Yes. I believe that since it is your work, you would need to start the thread. Just some in progress pictures.

Thanks so much.
I figured What the heck??!!! I sent a PM to Adam Savage here on the boards. Figured he is both a costumer and a HUGE Blade Runner fan. I posted a link to the thread here.

100% Agree

One easy-to-spot example of this is in the scene where Rachael comes to Deckard's appointment and he's asking her if she remembers the spider & egg...
as he takes off his Trench Coat, for a split second while it's still on his shoulder you can definitely see the shape of the shoulder padding! :) (y)
