There is a silicon in a tube which really is clear, but I think it might be an Australian product and you might not be able to get it...... plus silicone will probably wear away too quickly when used for walking. It's called Selleys All Clear.

It is hard to find a translucent silicone with a high enough shore hardness for a sole. Even the stuff I have is A40 and not hard enough. You want at least A60 or A65 for a shoe sole. That foam mid-sole looks awesome.

The higher the number the harder the rubber and the better it will wear. The softer the rubber, the better it will grip, but will faster it will wear. A65 was chosen to give a good grip and decent wear life.

What do you think about grey scuba fabric (neoprene) 2mm thickness for shell?

that was my first guess about the material but after remembering few session with surfshoes (made out of neoprene) I've changed my mind for one reasons :
• it is getting Too hot as this is suppose to protect from the cold and the water (and it is not so breathable = too much time in = feets getting to sweat = stinks)

BUT ... If you find one that is perforated and about 0.5 or 1mm thick, it would be a great material to use for get the shape done and a avoiding it to fall down.

Haha stinky feet is good reason to not use neoprene. I bought a 2mm thickness one, I will make some tries, and keep in mind perforated solution, maybe by needles or with little holes on side like the picture

They call neoprene dive suits "wet suits" because they need to be worn "wet". The stuff is just not comfortable when it is dry.

Also if you guys are considering a low version of the MAG, then you should at least make it from the two parts so it maintains the seamless look and clean toe from the outside of the shoe.

Hi, everybody. Yes a tutorial was in construction. I go through a rough time these days and it probably becomes month.
So, sorry and I hope I will go back and finish this tutorial in a near future.

No one is paying you to do this, so when you are ready.

I have been looking at different mediums for the outer part of the mid-sole and the closest found item that has a surface even close to the V2 texture is ABS plastic wth a "hair cell" finish. I think if laser cut from 1mm, this should be easy bent without heat and glued up to make a master part that can be molded and cast.
