Done / Completed Metal fifth element ZF-1 upgrade kit for Jake's kit

mid day update :)
we managed to move the machine to another wood pallet, it was delivered on a very weak pallet and the smaller pallet attached to the machine was put in the same direction as the pallet under it, so the under pallet broke and the upper one got stuck in between the wood planks...
we managed to put it on a much stronger pallet then slowly position the farm tractor to lift it to human height as close to the door as possible, that will hopefully mean less trouble to lift it from the ground, and we now "just" have to power through it with a few hunter colleagues of my father in law and hopefully manage to bring it up to the workbench!
hopefully we manage!
I'm looking forward to this being behind me as it is stressing me quite a lot!
cheers

hey guys!
who's excited for a cool update with the first milled part?!

the torch and ice cube system support rectangle (#12 on initial list)
well, this was a much more complex and long part to produce! it has so many holes, threads, details that I added to follow closely the real part... but although this is mostly just a rectangle, I think it will look good on the kits and add a very good level of details on close inspection :)
for fun, I made 135 holes for those parts, 81 M3 threads, 27 slots, 108 milled faces, 54 sanded faces and in total more than 450 Ops with various tools. fun stuff!

here we are with the most deadly tool I ever used, the slitting saw, cutting the slots visible on the real flame thrower version that I am reproducing:

here is the whole run of parts just needed threading and a bit of sanding on two faces:

and a few close ups of a finished cube:

and a little bonus to get people excited a bit :) at least, I am getting excited :)

I hope you guys will like it,

Just wait till this guy starts making parts for the blade runner blaster ;)

Edit : hell, why just parts? a whole baster from scratch

ahahah, shh shhh! how did you guess that? that is top secret and I haven't told anyone yet! I have a cool related project in the works yes ;-) but I'll work on the Star Wars Rexim Favor blaster first :)
cheers Olivier :)

I was just making some assumptions here, I don’t have any intel
All I know is that Eethan is a big fan of the blaster and now he has the tools to make pretty much the **** he wants in metal. I just connected the dots from there. Now imagine if eethan started making custom barrels and cylinders with the same level of accuracy and attention to details. Just sayin

lol, so close! couldn't she wait ten more minutes?
you know, last time she waited and I tried to finish in a hurry, I drilled through the most complex neck through electric guitar I built. the guitar is still there unfinished in a box under my workbench... since then, when she says she's hungry, I run! safer that way! I'll take the 10 minutes tomorrow morning
