This is incredibly scary..

Starring Mick Fleetwood as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Corey Feldman as Han Solo...lol

I laughed at this campaign… or should I say “attack strategy”

Do they really think YouTube is going to shut down some of them biggest flows of traffic on their platform?

Star Wars theory has more subscribers than Disney’s offical channel.. LOL

Though I do not agree with these “hater channels” this attack to try and take them down just shows how pathetic humanity has become

Best bet is to just ignore them…

I always looked at it like it always happened, but it just wasn't shown EVERY time. Like in a movie when there's a comment like, "The guard always takes a bathroom break at 9". It's to show a routine that can be exploited for the plot's sake, but it doesn't have to be shown every time.

In my mind anyways.
My wife and I have been watching the old “Fall Guy” episodes from 1980 and while we are enjoying it, as a kid I never realized how silly the show was.

So far my favorite moment was one you just reminded me of from Season 1. They are looking for a bail jumper and encounter a woman who is looking for her lost father who went to the town on business and disappeared. At one point they are going to search the house of the rich mother of the suspect and the girl says “my father told me she’s always away for an hour this time every night.”

I just started laughing. What an odd piece of information to have. So her dad was like “Honey, I’m going to this town I’ve never been to on business. I’ll be back in a few days. Oh by the way, the richest lady in town always leaves her house at 7pm and comes back at 8. I’ll call you when I get back.”

Re: YouTube:

Do Disney defenders really not see the irony of the “why can’t you just ignore it if you don’t like it” crowd trying to go after YouTube channels they don’t like?

At least in the case of YouTube, the existence of those channels doesn’t ruin the canon of previous YouTube videos you loved.

purposely putting my response in "SW Acolyte in a tailspin" so this thread doesn't melt down.

Well that's the funny part because they and Lucasfilm told everyone that these shows are "not for you" and "if you don't like it, don't watch it." We listened and now they're upset.

Either way this campaign failed within 24 hours because, despite not liking their opinion, they never said anything that was actually racist. They were equating people not liking the Reva character from Kenobi and the girl from The Acolyte with racism against the actresses. I'm not dismissing that they didn't get any, but they also never showed any receipts. I'd be taking screenshots and sharing every actual racist person that sent me a message. Those Youtubers they tried to cancel bring receipts.

This right here...your words to God's ears, man. They're simply not making what people want. End of story.

I just want to say that if on this particular page of "Let's talk all things Star Wars"..... THIS PRECISE PAGE..... we fail to talk about STORM TROOPERS .... we have MISSED THE TARGET..... Get it? Woot!!! 501st!!!! And if I get spilled off to page 502, I will not be happy.

Ok I have one because I was thinking about this yesterday. I remember a while back my nephew and I were watching Rogue One at my parents' house. My dad was in the room on the computer and was half paying attention. He said "What use is Stormtrooper armor if they just die whenever they get hit?" I gave him the EU answer that the armor is mainly for stopping and absorbing glancing blows, but won't stop a full power direct hit. It got me thinking that this was never shown on film where a Stormtrooper gets hit and shrugs it off. Usually, in the OT at least, we see smoking holes in the armor when they got hit. So maybe Han was too good a shot?

It could be these guys are still knocked off their feet possibly unconscious. But not everyone one of them is dead. As the armor absorbs most of the energy, but not all of it.

I've got one. It's more of a complaint.

But something that really don't care fore. Is TCW giving the 501st to Anakin during the course of the war. As opposed to the 501st being a special Clone unit (that actually does Palpatine's dirty work) bing assigned to Darth Vader during Operation Knightfall.

This is has lead to the continuity giving a Vader a new legion. The 1st Legion. Because Story Group felt that Vader wouldn't want to command unit so closely associated with Anakin. But 501st was and confusingly, still is dubbed, "Vader's Fist." Which absolutely does not make sense now. It did in the EU.
