Kurtz Dossier from Apocalypse Now (open source for all!)

How about these for the Red File?

One thread shows one of these in all four Ivory files, but in Adam's video it just had a red one in the 3rd Ivory file I believe.

The one below looks real close. I am thinking I can pick it up and send the extras out to members?

Holy ****, those look perfect! excellent work!

I snagged them. I can send you one. I am sure he only had one in Ivory 3. If that is the case I can send extras to members. Even if it is four I will have four extra.

The WS one is the best I have seen. Many I found are more expensive and some don't have the seal fold on both ends like the Film/Adam version.

After looking that the video that seems to be correct. just the one folder. I will try to make that insert that gets glued into the inside of that folder like this: 1711854439904.png

I also have had no luck looking for Military Jacket folders. I assume the military does not want people being able to buy them, so match the folder and print????

How does one print on folders??

This is a problem I have been thinking about a lot. Normal printers obviously cannot feed material that thick so something else would have to be done. The most realistic thing I can think of is screen-printing it directly onto them. It wouldn't cost that much and would look good. I will call Fedex tomorrow and see if that is something they can do. That is where I went to make the 4 Vietnamese ids and they came out good

This would also need to be done for the envelope that Willard gets at the start of the movie.

One of Adam's posts are confusing as stuff is missing. As he said these IDs are on Ebay. Looks lie you can get 2 to 4 for less than $40. He said the first two are screen grabs and the rest "his" I know he customized them, but is he saying he was able to screen grab two from the film and the rest are Ebay??? I don't remember seeing these clear enough in the film.

I went through the other Dossier posts. I may have missed it, but I can't find the size of the black/clear vinyl picture holders.

Anyone know?

Okay I have both magazines coming. The Newsweek that has the two page spread on Kurtz and I ordered the same date time magazine with Kurtz on the cover just like Adam did. They are cheap and fun for authenticity. I am going to add the two page spread to the Time one as well. Seems silly it has Kurtz on the cover and nothing in it about him.

I have a 10 pack of red folders on the way,

Looks like I only need one and I am sending one to Ehyder20. If anyone needs one I have eight extras, if Adam was correct in his video showing only Ivory 3 having the red one.

I checked the scene with the Vietnamese IDs Kurtz assassinated and there are pretty good views, but no way to use screen grabs for them. At least not with my skill level.

Any ideas???

WS folders are correct for Ivory folders. Adam has these and not the Amazon ones who's front covers have a different corner.

Correct as near as I can tell.

Wrong based on Adam's.

Okay the Amazon ones look just like the Military jacket ones Adam is using that go inside the Ivory folder. If you look at the corners they match.

I added the front and back photos into miscellaneous! For these, I just used these front and back pictures taken from an ebay listing. I then went to a Fedex print and ship center (kinkos) and they were very helpful. I had 2 photos of the front printed, one so I can cut out the picture of the face and glue it on top of the other paper so it gives it a little three-dimensionality. then I took that piece and glued it to the other so there was a front and back. Trim the edges and laminate it (which they can do there) and you have a pretty close replica. These are not 100% accurate but i think they capture them well and feel realistic. If you want I can also try to screengrab the faces from the movie!
