Went to IKEA yesterday and bought my curios and shelves
So this is seriously going to be a guest house or a work shop for yourself?
Office will be a display area with a computer and office crap so I can take my work home. The back area is my new workshop

What do you call an Electrician doing soffit work? FIRED!!!
Actually it came out pretty good for my first time ever doing it. Pretty satisfying as well. I have to leave the exposed part like this until it is inspected. Finished with all the little extras and got 3 pieces of insulation up before it went dark on me. I could have run temp lights but I'm beat and I don't want to start overdoing it now. I had intended drywall hanging this weekend but it looks like a Monday task.

I really need my contractor buddy to bring his trailer over so I can get rid of this construction garbage. If I put a dumpster or even a dumpster bag in front, the neighborhood will load it up on me.
I ordered my flooring and once drywall is complete, its game on. I am still waiting on the windows unfortunately; however, I will board them up and keep going. AC mini split comes in next week. I prewired low voltage lighting for cabinets , cameras and alarm.

Took weeks to get them and a pain to install but I did it. The white around Windows and door is a sealant required by local code enforcement. Kinda like spreading marshmallow fluff. I rented a drywall lift for the ceiling and my son and I did that.
Weekend goals, -finish drywall so I can begin drywall finishing
AC goes in next week.

Flooring starts Monday as well.
Then I have to trim out the electrical and build my furniture. All the wire stub outs on the back wall are going to light up my cabinets. 6 Detlof and 6 Ekets, Billy corner and a built in.
