Limited Run Cloud city blaster - Relby K23 - aluminium conversion kits! interest for a possible new run?
alright, I disassembled my second Nemrod, there is nothing before where the tube needs to be cut on mine. I get stuck 10cm after, where I put my finger:
that made me see that my second pistol is not accurate in the back when disassembled though! what is that variation?! so if people have this issue as well, I can turn an additional aluminium piece to replace that if you can get it out. I know that on my first one, that was accurate, I was able to remove it:
so, Marcus, on my first one, i had something stuck really at the start of the barrel, which didn't make sense of course, but maybe this is that same part that is in the back on my second, and in a wrong place as well on yours. I could definitely hammer it off without too much difficulty, as you can see, it's just held by rubber O rings, so it should slide inside the barrel:

weird, I ordered 2 nemrods from him and I know a client ordered one as well, I'm sure he is bumping up his shipping costs as i know that shipping this from Spain to France would not cost 50€ and that is annoying, but appart from that, I received both Galeons alright.

Yes I was going to say, that's a piston that can be hammered out! I have yet to figure out how to remove the back piece with the O ring.. also curious if anyone has removed the barrel completely.

removing the barrel completely doesn't seem possible I think. i'm pretty sure it's cast into the plastic of the body.
what do you mean without the barrel?
to be completely open with you, the barrel is accounted for 4.25€ in the kit. if I don't supply it, the gears will be a bit weird as they are made to snap right into that tube if you noticed, they have a curve that goes to the barrel tube and a little step that goes right inside the tube to secure them.
don't hesitate to tell if you think there is something wrong with the tube though.

the first part for the run is done
this is the one that some people don't need, so I decided to do 12 and that's it I'm very happy with the part!
Please post your interest below if you haven't done it yet, I'll keep this opened for a few more days and will order the rest of the materials I need to do the run after that.
My objective is to try to release those + the new run of dome lights (that I have been working on from time to time since the begining of the year) + the new batch of detention camera Delrin kits + the macros parts by the end of August to try to have all the Star Wars project in stock at the same time for the first time!

ahah yes! If I could, i would as it would look awesome in polished aluminium. But that is too organic a shape for me to mill sadly!Ya know if you want this to really take off you should do the whole blaster in metal including all the greeblies.

I bought the stupid thing. He was kind of a jerk when I had my buddy, who gets stuff off Ebay for me, sent him an offer but oh well. Retirement is for quitters.

for the Greeblies, they are mostly all original V8 parts and things like that, and I think that Ryan Clinton will also do casts of mostly all of them. So I'll focus on other projects after this and let the people that already have those ready handle this
