Beginner's Grail Diary (Printable Pages + Inserts)

that would require a high resolution scan, both sides, then some cleaning and a high quality pdf file, do you think you should do it?
Also would you be able to measure the frame size, the black frame all around, that can be helpful to know the exact printing size.
For exemple if the whole page is 20x12,3, maybe the frame will be 18x10 or so, and it that case, it can be possible to make a pdf file, scaling it perfectly to be printed on A4 paper, front and back.

This is all I have on the sizes. The eastern telegraph stamp goes on the form in the right hand side up the top and on the envelope and the zeppelin ticket on the back of the form.

I think I will try to print parts, and cast them to make silicone copies and try to make stamp sets.

I don't understand about those zeppelin papers, where is the blue "1 amerikan fahrt" stamp supposed to be found, and what is the size?
I am working on it, and it will be a big job to make completely, so I prefer to get sure it's accurate first, thanks TO all of you for your help.

pdf is set for A4. But the back of it is wrong and doesn't print well I found. But I did put the stamp in the right place on it while I was trying to get it to work which is the main reason I included it here.

so the final telegram paper is supposed to be a bit smaller than A4?

Here is pngs, scaled following last informations ( smaller printing on A4 file, I also corrected the color, following the latest file, added a hint of blue)
if the last pdf file from katmax is the correct ratio, I will edit a pdf from latest informations, I can also add the blue stamp, but I think it would be much better to use a real stamp instead.

Please also take a look at my stamp design, this is the second I made, the other is "venizia italia " stamp, which I sized 43mm, I may changed it a bit.
I will print them, then, clean the flat surface, do some randomization on lettering and other details, before doing casts, that way the finish will be very clean and realistic.

The stamp should be completely in the "Circuit" column. Not partly in the "Clerck's Name" column.

That why I am asking, also about size, if there is any file, real item or so, showing it, I would appreciate it, as I am still on stamp drawing, as soon as it will be done, it can be printed and I will be able to make rubber copies.

Here are some pictures of the original Almanac. One page is 20 cm in height and 12,3 cm in width (so this is for the complete page. Keep in mind that the astrology sheets in the Diary are cut out).

I used hd pdfs for the lary ticket, but I saw the back is missing, also I don't understand there are 5 files but I don't which is which, it seems there are two front of the blue one, with and without number but the back is missing, about the 3 other files, I don't understand.
What am I supposed to use, also where can I find reference for the blue ticket back side?

This is a reference of how the tickets should look. There are 3 tickets, 2 blue and 1 yellow. Ive also attached some Propstore photos of the source material used to create the tickets. One of the blue tickets is a mash up of it self with one side edge copied on to the other side.

I advise to go through the Grail Diary section on the COW forum on indygear.net. It has TONS of information about the Grail Diary. Enough to make a VERY accurate one. You'll find all the info about the inserts there too.

A lot of (recent) info given in this thread here on the RPF is outdated or just wrong. I see that inaccurate images of inserts are shared, that there are questions asked that have been answered already years ago, etc, etc...

Off course you are free to ask these questions and to help each other out here, but why put all this effort in it here, while all info is readily available on the COW forum? Just go there, go to the Grail Diary sub forum, and search there for the info you need. I'm pretty sure ALL your questions have an answer in that subforum. Good luck!

The problem with COW is that there is so much information to wade through and that most of the links for documents and examples are now mostly dead. I found some stuff there when I was going through it but there were a lot of items and things that had been made no longer available. It seems to have been very active 7-10 years ago but died down a lot now.

Personally I want to make a story diary and will include as many of the known pages I can find. A hero diary with a bunch of repeat pages doesn't interest me. I will have do mine hand written as I'm not in a position to print and bind a book.

Same. My interest in the grail diary has really shifted away from the hero or b props and shifted more towards something between the hero and a story diary. Like Holt’s tool diary. I’m not interested in fake journal entries as I don’t think that Sr. would have been writing things in the grail diary that didn’t have to do with his hunt for the grail. I’m ok with a few repeating pages, as you see some of the same pages in different locations in the book, but mostly new pages would be nice.

I agree with this. It is after all basically an elaborate notebook. Something where he wants to be able to find references to what he has found elsewhere. Quotes from original sources, drawings of finds etc.

I'm taking a similar approach with an Abner diary I'm researching at the moment. It will mostly be notes about the history of the Ark and options where to find it along with one or two fake entries of things he found pushing him towards Tanis.

If you are just going for a story diary, then you can basically do whatever you want, off course. Then all the info to make an accurate replica of the hero diary is pretty much irrelevant.

This is an overview of all pages in the Hero Diary. Just shift these in your story diary wherever you think they fit, and pack it with inserts (whatever you can find) and you are fine:
