Yeah that rip has been bugging me.wow, you are looking for perfection lol, well, to be most accurate to the original showed, the damage on the paper most be aligned with the little tower of the house, and taller, until be at the same height than the camel letters. Second, the orange in the original it looks lighter than yours, even when the picture itself is lighter, the orange to me, looks a bit lighter. Just my two cents.View attachment 1861451View attachment 1861452
My photo has a warmer tone to it than the original which could also account for the difference.
Does anyone have a good file for the Gray letter ? Front and back?
The Letter Size is Approximately 7.5 inches High & 5.4 Wide according to Indy MagnoliHello, can you tell me the file size, if it's A4 or a different format, thanks a lot
This Message here has a screenshot from Passage to IndiaThe majority of the letter is on the back side of the page, the original prop in passage to India is folded up for the illusion of being full. hope this helps!
Your source is probably a cleaned up version if this one:It really looks great and accurate, but the only available version I can use is this one as its the only printable version I've found online. I don't have your skill with photoshop to make something as good as what you did.
The text is what is already written on the packet just rearranged into the block formartion and also the first line removed.Your source is probably a cleaned up version if this one:
I also wonder what the vertical text says. If one could find a proper font style, then this could easily be replicated.
Having done alot more work on the camel insert I feel I'm getting pretty close now. Spent most of Saturday editing in photoshop to get the weathering and colours as close as I could to the source images. I have to stress this is not a copy but, from the ground up recreation of the camel insert. Until the day I can get a direct scan of the original this will be as close as I can get.
victorc pointed out some details for improvement which I have addressed.
Also Indiana Holt posted a picture of his diary which showed the camel pack (Thanks Holt!) which is reportedly a scan from the original.
