Just dumbed across this picture today. I'm sure it's not new, but first time I remember seeing it.
Can I propose "Shamon" as a new word for the hobby?
I feel deep Shamon at this latest post. To my mind, the word Shamon means this:
1.) The feeling of shame that you did not see, identify, or know this piece.
2.) The equal feeling of gratitude that someone, namely Shamon, DID come along to tell you.
Shamon: the feeling of shame and gratitude in equal measure for a new ID that was "hiding in plain sight" all along...
Deep Shamon: the feeling of shame and gratitude in equal measure for a new ID, with the added sensation that this isn't the last time this is going to happen...
I'm not sayin' I was a Falcon expert before Shamon came along. I'm just sayin' that Shamon makes me feel like a rookie every time he posts...
Thanks Shamon! You are legend.
You're killing me, Shamalls!Thank you, Studio Kitbash. But I'm afraid to be praised so much. lol
I just love Falcon, and I can't help but want to know all the parts used in Falcon. The biggest mystery for me is the many unidentified parts that exist in the "Chieftain pit".
I found another part today. However, there are 11 parts that have not yet been found in this place.
I so love maps, where I have almost all the kits. But where the hell do we find, Space Screws, ; )
Space…duh…I so love maps, where I have almost all the kits. But where the hell do we find, Space Screws, ; )
I chose A because that second 'hump' that you have, just forward of the Tiger I hatch, isn't in this photo. There's only one 'hump' left over by cutting into the Saturn V thrust plate, and that's aft of the hatch.
