In order to keep Greenmachines pumped. Lots of costume ideas.

Oh ya, definitely adding this first one to the list. I have two sellers that have the original parade unform jackets so the upgrade would be matching the lapel pattern. Will post my links tonight.

The short black and gold jacket, I believe can be customized from the Rorox and one other Vendor that I found that is similar in the chest but different in the arms. The rorox is correct in the arms and the other is closer in the chest. I stumbled a bit too long on this paradox until the light bulb came on. Buy both, swap the arms and keep one sleeveless. This creates one near stage match jacket for"Then" and one near stage match for "Now" where he wears the sleaveless more often. And in the end he had so many parade jackets that any left over pieces can be cobbled to make another.

Oh and yes....the sleeveless white vest. This one haunts my soul, I have found no vendor willing to recreate it and what is available isn't close enough for me to settle. Even the vendors that claim to be customized and hand made to order. But the search goes on. I can't imagine not being able to do the stage coach scene in my final poses.

The Garnet heart necklace is extremely similar to "Sacred Heart" necklaces but seems to have a second heart above instead of flames (maybe is flames but embossed?). Some instances of similar are called "Two hearts".

The important part is replication if no authentic source is available.

Adam used a bar end catch chain, so the bar is always right there over the heart. The gem on his is dark red and the outline does not sparkle so I am saying it is a circular impression but no gems inside them as a pattern all the way around. I found a base part that does have gems in the outline but no second heart above. This leaves 5 things to be done. Find the bar catch chain, remove the clear gems, darken the entire gem and silver, make the small replica top heart and add silver wire around central gem to match original. The base gem is from a red version replica of the Heart of the Ocean, from Titanic...

I will post links once received and can confirm quality and usefulness for this project.

Lots of my base parts came in today. I will be finishing the styling on the "too young to die" pinky ring, the nickel ring and the spades ring. Here they are before customizing and the bracelet (before buffing and addition of the side catch wire and ball).

I will post links for the base rings tomorrow. I can now confirm that they will suffice as replica parts but need the final touches.

One of the hats came in and it is definitely a match but needs to be steamed and reshaped as it is very wrinkled from shipping. And the picture auto adjusted the color. It is not brown. It is black or charcoal gray.

That hat is looking good for sure (y) (y) If sleeveless; are you going to re-create the tats also?
I have only laughed openly each time that thought crosses my mind and it has. I am avoiding it like the flashbacks of junior high. Push it down, paint over the thought, think of blank paper....... I now get stuck looking at sleeve tattoo replicas in the hopes of finding it but I know full well it won't exist.

Updated 8-29-23 (PL0001 Starck 21 Black)

I finally found the glasses. I did a google in picture search and it found similar shaped frames and within 3 hops from there on "similar", there they were:

Prescription Starck Glasses

I will hand feed this info to my optometrist and we shall see. It looks like they are out of stock with most vendors.

So, straw poll please. What color would you say his frames are: Silvery gold, matte black, blue or other (the colors they come in)

I say matte black and offer this:

I will put in my order today. By quite a legit coincidence, my vision insurance benefits locked my frames purchase to being available at the end of the plan year. It happens to be reopening in September. My eye doctor has an amazing purchase agent and they will buy my frames in advance and hold billing until the new cycle comes around. which means I have to wait to pick them up but with the state of the world today, I may not be able to schedule a vision exam before then.

I got my order in today. The optometrist's purchase agent said he confirmed he can get the lens cut guide still so even though these are out of production I still get a new old stock matte black prescription I can actually keep and use. This may be my favorite cosplay build yet. This does mean that those ebay lighter tan ones are still available at 150 or best offer and could always be spray painted to match before lens install.

I worked a bit on the Bradford exchange nickel ring replica. I popped the plastic insert and cleared out the glue and seated my real Indian nickel on a test run. I believe some skillful soldering and I can have the side raised images and then it is paint time...

Ordered some bandanas, some chain, dug through my coins and found some worthy of necklace charms and then utterly failed to find the solder I bought two days ago so didn't make any further progress. As for random, I still have not found trim lace I would be happy with for the tricorn. I do now have two tricorns base hats from the costume store. Ooooh and my bicorn came in today.....

I will by all accounts have far too much fun with this hat.

You could take one and use a dremel, disk sander, or belt sander, and shave down the back, if you take enough off, you could thin it out enough to sit down inside the space.

I just located my dremel in the shop and will be pursuing that tomorrow. Definitely sitting too high. The ring has some room to move as well so I will make the pocket deeper.
