Raphael Andolini pistol (Predator 2/Prey), finished by customer Graeme Hagen. That's a 3d print, no less.

ROTJ, masks are selling because people are building there own reveal masks, the black series masks in my opinion are not for serious collectors as they are very inaccurate and most people who want a screen accurate version end up having to build there own. Maybe you could look into creating a screen accurate base from ROTJ for builders to build from?

I'd be all for it, I am just not THAT knowledgeable on the nuances of the different helmets. And that's after spending years looking at them, leisurely reading about each helmet and makers, etc... :p

My biggest pet peeve with Vader buckets is that they (to me anyways) are SO HARD to get right. Probably a garbage analogy, but it's like looking at a kit car that has a perfectly proportioned body, but the wheelbase is just a couple of inches too long or short. You can't quite tell what's wrong, but something just doesn't look right. Same goes for Vader helmets and me; they can be 98% good, but something will still look wrong and sometimes I just can't figure out what it is lol.

I'd be all for giving an ROTJ lid a shot, but I think I'd have to start a thread to get the hive mind's input on it for revising. I've got an engineer's brain, and Vader helmets have a lot of 'sculpture' to them that can throw me for a loop on my own.

I completely agree, all four masks are different from the other in subtle ways, I will see if I can get some references for you to look at, I know that the original is asymmetrical because it was done by hand before CAD design was made available.

Couldn't find much to go by at the moment, but if you talk with Manny from potumac he may be very helpful as he has built and developed his own ,
