Worst Costumes and Props

I feel awful for posting it because I felt like this prop was one of the highlights of the movie for me (which I loved), but it's still true...

(The alien creature from Dark Star, aka the beachball)

Funny that you mentioned this. If it hadn't been for this beachball alien, Dan O'Bannon (who plays Pinback in the film) wouldn't have felt so displeased with it enough to end up creating a much scarier one, thus resulting in one of the most memorable horror movie to ever be made: "Alien."

Remember these guys from the 70's? The show was called The Lost Saucer.

Ah, the show by the Kroft brothers show that had Ruth Buzzie and Jim Habors(As I remember)? I could not wait for that show to come out and, when it did, it was so awful even my 10 year old sensibilities were scorched.

This gets my vote for the worst costume: David Bowie in Labyrinth

Seriously now, did we really need to see him in tight spandex showcasing his crotch? "Dance magic, dance" . . . yeah, we know what he's really singing about.

And check out SweatPantsErection.com if you're feeling brave. It's work safe, and pretty dang funny.

i know alot of women who love this film because of this crotch it is a main selling point :p

I believe you mean Jim Nabors, AKA Gomer Pyle.

Probably one of the worst costumes ever, but at least it was in line with the shows humor.

Probably not the worst ever, but it sure is bad. I could never get myself invested into that show, not even when I was a kid. The costume is pretty bad, the hair too to be honest. He looks like he's wearing a mini skirt with red tights under it in some photos. Always liked watching the intro though.

I think you guys are missing the point of the GAH suit-

It's supposed to be ridiculous! :lol

He is a reluctant hero given the job by aliens--- and he has to wear this ungodly suit in order to have superpowers.

There's even a scene in the pilot where Ralph puts the suit on at home and looks at himself in a mirror for the first time... and has that "You've got to be kidding me!" look on his face. :lol

Certainly meant to be exactly as it looks in the context of the comedy tv show.

It would be a lot different if it was supposed to be Batman's or Superman's new tights. ;)

Love Bill C, but...

Notice how he's pointing at it now, and but doesn't seem to be wearing them anymore.

For me, GAH will always be about Connie Sellecca... and her tight shirts on that show. She ALWAYS wore tight shirts.

There was a super hero costume in that show???
