What is your 'grail' and do you own it?

My biggest want is a Model 47A Mal Firefly pistol (although right now I'd settle for a Sidkit for the time being). Gods I'd love to get hold of that gun!

Outside of that there's a few things ;)

- 1967 Chevy Impala tricked out Supernatural style
- Dean's custom nickel plated, engraved, Colt 1911 from Supernatural (which I'm working on right now)
- Screen accurate Ghostbusters Proton Pack
- Creation Entertainment Pulse Rifle from Farscape
- Fully tricked out with electronics Pulse Pistol from Farscape
- Screen accurate TMNT suit

One day I WILL own a complete Rocketeer costume. My restrictions now are money. That jetpack is crazy expensive!! And I also want a Judge Dredd helmet. Maybe a full set of Master Chief armor... again money restrictions.

Then there's my dream of owning a classic car. I would love the 57 Chevy Bel-Air Detective Maza drove in the old Disney cartoon Gargoyles.

Until then, I daydream about owning them lol.

My Terminator Grail , just how I imagined a damaged T800 would look and not some shiny chrome PG-13 version....

If I could just find the Hunter Killer Tank Maquette I could die a happy man.

This is scary as hell and very realistic, me like!

My holy grail would ba a HIC (Han in carbonite) as a desk or as a table in my living room.

A functional Pulse Rifle (on YouTube. Fires .45/12gauge)

A set of slothfurnace crystal chamber lightsabers (particularly Luke's ANH and RotJ)

Full size Alien, Terminator Exoskeleton, and Predator would not be turned away either.

I own none. :(

Hi guys,
My two which I am lucky to own are my TARDIS and my World of Warcraft: Doomhammer. I loved the Doomhammer so much I bought two, one is on display and the other one is still in the original box it came in.

I also have to admit that my Gene Simmons Axe Bass and Destroyer Boots rank really high on my list as well.

Owning a pop culture store is really bad if you want to save money, lol. I have so much stuff!

My Grail has got to be a Star Trek TOS Phaser, i have not been able to find one in prime condition, the search goes on

Boy, where to begin :D
Most everything on my grail list is too big or pricy, so they are just in my dreams.

Star Wars:
-A Vader costume from any of the OT would be awesome, as would be a Chewie or 3PO.
-A fully fuctioning R2 with all his gadgets would be amazing.
-A full size X-Wing or Snowspeeder.

James Bond:
-Really any/all of his gadget cars, boats, and aircraft.
-One more obtainable thing that was on my grail list for as long as I can remember was the golden gun, which I went against all financial logic and bought a few weeks ago.

Back to the Future:
-Obviously the Delorean, or any Delorean. (Actually I have a buddy that's big into them and even owns a Delorean repair shop -- if I come into money, I'm going to him!)
-The hoverboard, though I did preorder the Mattel one, I'm sure I'll either make or get a more accurate one on these forums eventually.

Jurassic Park:
-Either the Explorer or Jeep, or both . I remember in grade school I had the Jeep toy and I really wanted the Explorer, but my parents couldn't find it anywhere. Then about 10 years ago I found one on ebay, and it's the pride of my JP toy collection now.
-A full size, animatronic velociraptor and/or dilo, and the baby raptor hatchling.
-The cryocan and brochure were on my list forever, but not anymore thanks to Rylo and Nagata.

When I first began collecting, my 'grail' was a real, functional ranger sword like the one Strider wields in the Lord of the Rings films. I picked up the officially licensed United Cutlery wallhanger version early on, but it felt dead in my hands and wasn't built to be a useable weapon.

It took me 10 years, but I got my real ranger sword. Mind you, I didn't end up getting a screen accurate one (though I know they exist). I got something better. At least in my eyes.

This is a semi custom Borderwatch by Christian Fletcher and Albion Armorers, a real, functional, battle-worthy ranger sword built on the one of the most historically accurate blades in terms of mass distribution and materials available anywhere, and it's magnificent. In the years since I've started collecting I've learned and come to appreciate authentic historical swords more and more and realized I needed my ideal blade to combine elements from history with the look of cinematic fantasy, as well as give service to my own personal preferences and deviations from the original (like having a grip in dark red. :))
Dream achieved. :eek

My grail, hmmm. Frostmourne, Anduril and Glamdring. All obtainable, but I just can't convince myself to get them.

Unreachable grails? Any screen used star trek ship.

Possible grails, BTTF Delorean, and a General Lee Replica.

Have you read your Talhoffer and Meyer . . . ? ;)

I try to stay at least non-ignorant of the work of the disciples of Johannes Liechtenauer, but I wouldn't dare say I know well the use of the sword, yet. :):lol

I did medieval re-enactment back in my younger days. I was pretty OK with a longsword, not terribly great with a dane-axe, and absolutely lethal with a rapier. I was quite a good archer, as well, but being a not very big guy, I could never handle bows beyond about 50 pounds draw weight (I knew people who had bows of over 100 pounds).

The Last Starfighter: Xur Ceptor

Original has never been found, My goal is to create a cold cast replica, with a working blade :cool

Might make a thread to see if anyone can identify some parts on it. really hoping I can identify a part so as to help with getting the correct scale.

I have many props that I've always *wanted* -- but a few that I've seriously *W*A*N*T*E*D*, and actually could see myself getting somehow.

First, is a replica of the Maltese Falcon from the Bogie flick. Thanks to the wonderful work of our own Oz, I have one on my mantel.

Second, is a replica of a horga'hn from ST:TNG. I now have one of those, too.

The third is a replica of the cane used by Barnabas Collins from the old Dark Shadows TV series. They are out there, but cost several hundred dollars, and I can't justify that. :(

The ridiculous ones I want include a full sized TARDIS (preferably functional) and a full size (preferably functioning, too!) Stargate.

Sounds awesome. I have a love affair with the rapier (own a perfect one made by Arms&Armor), but I know less about using one than I know about using a longsword. I used to do trail work in the summer with axes, so I'm much more comfortable using one of those even though the aesthetics don't appeal to me as much. :lol
I know what you mean about the beastly longbows. It's not my area, but I know folks who do it. Managing the triple digit weights is partly a matter of technique (shooting "in" the bow) and muchly about loads and loads of training.
Sure is a magnificent weapon.

Cant go wrong with Albion :) They are perfect in every way.

As for me, my grails are:

custom harness of 15th century Gothic style armour

Albion sword models Brescia, Cluny, Duke, Regent, Talhoffer, Tyrolean, Alexandria, Machiavelli, Kingmaker, Knight, Knecht, Oakeshott, and maybe one or two others, oh and one of each of their main Conan swords.

Screen accurate Obi-Wan ANH lightsaber.

Life-size screen accurate Giger alien.

Apart from that, I can be happy :)
