ive gone ahead and ordered a 2XL suzahdi jacket. i have a 46 chest size and loved the material of the XL i bought a suzahdi in 2019 but it had always been too tight, pointy shoulders and never a good fit. looking forward to the new fit! ill post pictures of the old and the new once it arrives.

the old one was good enough that i bought an updated model.... but i have no other suede jackets to compare it against. ill report back once the new one arrives.

The suede on the suzhadi is softer and more flexible than the suede on the UGG funny enough. The UGG feels thicker and more solid. Both are good, if i owned a Suzhadi personally i'd be happy with the suede. My main gripe with it currently is the collar, how high it sits in the neck and how the collar on every jacket seems to be different in cut and/or color.
Edit: The suede on the Suzhadi is a slight shade darker than the UGG.
Edit 2: This was on a late 2023 model, right before they came out with their limited edtion version.

yeah the collar is mostly what i’m worried about but i wanna send them the measurements from the original ugg and try to modify the collar myself

hey guys, just finished reading all 85 pages of this thing lol. I ordered a stock medium black edition from suzhadi , as i think it matches the look of ricks much more then the lighter brown one many companies offer. I’m also collaborating with them on making a custom version of the backside of the collar to look more like jacket #3. (Thinner with a little bit of the suede showing at the bottom) They said that if i approve the look of it than they’ll make it an option for everyone to buy. If you guys are interested i’d like to work together on making sure it’s perfect

Today i received my „The Grimes Jacket - Limited Edition“ from Suzahdi and unfortunately I was very disappointed. I was very disappointed with the color and material of the collar. The collar material wasn't bad but in my opinion it doesn't look similar to the original UGG jacket. I saw pictures of other people buying this jacket and the material looked much more similar to the original. An example here in this thread on page 80 is the jacket from fangrimes. A seam went into the collar. The collar was not symmetrical, on the right side it is square and round and on the left side it is just round. There is a rivet under the collar that is attached in such a way that the material is squeezed and a fold is created. The zipper on the collar is continuous on the left side and rounded upwards on the right side. I hope I was able to explain everything clearly. I come from Germany and my English is not the best. If something is unclear, I hope the pictures provide a better explanation. I have already contacted Suzahdi and am hoping for an exchange.
Edit: Suzahdi replied to me that the collar was intentionally made asymmetrical because apparently it was that way in the show. I didn't know that. The jacket will be exchanged. That's really a great service from Suzahdi, thank you very much

I didnt know that. Every picture I saw of Rick wearing the jacket it looked symmetrical to me. Anyway I'm unhappy with the collar. The color and material differ too much from the original for me. I would like it to be like the jacket from Fangrimes on page 80. In terms of look and color, this would be the perfect collar for me. The fact that the seam on the left side goes into the collar really bothers me too.

just out of curiosity, what is it about the collars material and collar that you don’t like? they make theirs out of genuine toledo shearling which is what was on the UGG. Now that’s not to say that different collars made out of the same material can’t be different, but in terms of texture and appearance, Suzhadis is actually the closest you can get. What do you think about the thickness of your collar? that’s the biggest thing i’m working with Suzhadi to make sure is correct

yeah the material is good but it looks not like the one from the UGG for me. It's hard to describe exactly what I mean. The color of the collar is also not the same in my opinion. This photo is from fangrimes jacket from site 80. This collar would be perfect for me. The color is more matching the UGG and it looks also more as the one from the UGG in my opinion.

you have to also keep in mind that in terms of collar color , in the later seasons it’s stained with blood more and more so it gets slightly darker. if you look in season 4 it’s a light / medium tan color. where as later on it’s definitely more tan

Yeah i know what you mean. Heres a comparison photo from the collars. I hope you know now better what i mean. The color of the ugg is slightly darker and the texture of the collar is different.
