Hey, I have a WSL jacket as well, and over the past few months I’ve been experimenting with it to look as close to Rick Grimes jacket as possible. The side panels that are shown in that photo of yours are more closely related to the side panels used on the third UGG jacket that Andrew wore. The third jacket is the extra large one that he wore during the season 7 episode 1.

Try to ask them if they could also modify the shoulders to not come up whenever you lift your arms.

So I actually went to a seemstress to have that done. Only cost about 50 bucks to get done. Though it does take some time due to the double stitching. Look for a seemstress that can handle altering suede.

yeah, I asked them to not let it have the pointy shoulders along with all the other customizations. The only things I would have to alter to make it more accurate is to alter the shearling and change the lining. I've been looking everywhere for the lining. Have you got any leads on where to find it?

It's ridiculously hard to find, also I noticed that everyone kept complaining about the hairs sticking up on the suede and not as smooth as the suede on the screen used ugg, is because they washed the screen ugg multiple times to clean the blood. This in turn caused the suede's hair to become brittle and snap making the suede more smooth. So I'm considering washing it a few times to make the suede more screen accurate.

As for the one I’m doing, I dyed the side panels in dark brown to better give it that Jacket 2 look and with a few covers I got the exact color.

As for the suede on the WSL, it’s actually pretty heavy and harder then the other jackets made by magnolia and suzu.

Can you explain how you dyed the side panels?
 
Of course, so the exact dye that I used for the sides was RIT synthetic dye

Dye- https://www.amazon.com/Rit-Dye-Synt...ocphy=9028100&hvtargid=pla-349757615985&psc=1

Now the steps I took to dye the jacket were pouring 1/2 a cup of the dye in a random bowl then mixing it with 2 cups of hot temperature water that I get from my kitchen sink.

After that I used a sponge to dip in the dye and stroke the entire panels about two times heavily so the dye could soak up in the fabric.

Left It out to dry in the sun for about an hour or two and then boom, there ya have it.

Awesome. I also noticed you were heavily searching for the lining on the inside of the original ugg, did you get any leads?
 
So I'm trying to cosplay as Rick in the season 5 finale. Does anybody know what bandages were on his face for the little period of time in this photo?
