This thread oughta get an award or something for best support haha (EDIT: and best continuity). As I absolutely love that everyone is still working towards something here.

How’s the progress on everything so far gentlemen? I still have my Magnoli Suede but unfortunately it won’t get cold enough to use it as it’s a heavy jacket suited for 30 below and mostly here in Texas in Fall is low of 40 and high of 55 - 60 so I’ve just been wearing fleece jacket, winter should be coming soon though.

Damn, is it heavy interior padding or the suede itself? Was looking to place an order within the next couple months but here in Florida the temps probably gonna get back up soon so maybe I might have to request lighter padding

Suede is heavy material that UGG probably the same way yeah it looks stretchy and light but it’s a bit heavier than they look

Hi Trev my ugg jacket is a hell of alot lighter than the magnoli jacket by a long way it fits extremely well and is very comfortable

Huh.. I was afraid of that. So maybe Indy can somehow reduce the weight to make the jacket more flexible and light. I mean yeah it’s a heavy jacket but still looks really good and feels good but I’d compare the weight of it to a rugged Carhartt jacket.

so James is the UGGs suede more flexible and light or the overall jacket lighter?

the suede is very flexible and extremely light in my opinion as is the overall jacket it really moulds to your body and is so much easier to move about in than say the whitesheep leather one, Dont get me wrong the whitesheep looks good but the ugg looks good and is extremely comfortable

Hmm. Good lord this UGG jacket just gets more and more interesting. I don’t see how we could reduce the weight of Indy’s jacket if it’s the suede..

i do think its the suede on the magnoli jacket as i have one myself the suede is awesome but alot heavier than my ugg. Also the shearling on any of tthe replica jackets are miles away from the toledo shearling on the ugg. i think its nearly impossible to recreate the collar without it as it is alot more dense and more pliable to shape than the replica shearling and a very different colour. i have looked for toledo shearling online but cant find any like the ugg s

exactly what it is in my opinion. its going to be very hard to do an exact replica especially the toledo shearling im browsing at the moment to see if i can buy a small roll to help out on here

unfortunately when they altered my collar the taylor might have discarded the remaining shearling which i asked them to save they are going to ask him when he comes back to work if its salvageable

The resolution is fine for all of them it's just your pictures are out of focus and harder to discern the details. If you could, I would retake them in brighter lighting and make sure the images are focused so they don't come out as blurry maybe preview them before you post

That collar came out great! Looks spot on if you'd ask me. Could you perhaps make a picture of the suede backside of the collar at the front? I'm curious to see how it looks with the zipper pushed inwards and how they stitched it back up at the edge of the collar.

Icant believe no one has an opinion on this! thats strange mate somebody else just said they could see the pictures very clearly especially the last one?

Yes, the last one is indeed better, but the other pictures aren't very sharp. It seems that while the picture is taken you move the camera a little, causing the image to blur. I know, the excitement and all that.
