Walking Dead Rick Jacket

only thing is the thread needs to be darker but otherwise you guys nailed the overall design

i second this. i think the way you guys did it is more like the stock version of the jacket before it was modified for the show. in the show the corduroy is more of a dark tan/ light brown color. As i’ve told you on instagram though many times the actual material of the rest of the coat though looks genuinely incredible. You guys did very well and it would really only require that tweak in my eyes. That and shortening the collar a little

We will use the corduroy color for the thread. I have noticed that too.

Nah, the color of the corduroy is more like a tobacco color. It's hard to describe and nail down with just a flat RGB color on a screen. The corduroy can look yellowish/greenish brown or plain brown/tan depending on the lighting. It's hard to nail down because of the nature of corduroy material reflecting light. It might look like tan in the pictures, but it definitely is not tan. Tan would turn out way lighter.

also the thread on the corduroy is the same color as the denim

Actually the color of the thread has a slightly reddish/pinkish color compared to the olive/gray color of the rest of the jacket making it stand out slightly if you look closely.

I have noticed that too. We have received a lot of different reference pictures, and the details vary in each of them. So, we took the main details and created this version. Thread color changes are the next step for our final version.

either way, you guys did a fantastic job. it’s like 90% there right now.

Fahdi sended me this picture of a prototype minutes ago. This is only to show what collar shape they created for the wings style collar. It looks very good imo. This is available for everyone who buys the jacket and wanted the wing style collar shape in the future.

i was literally JUST going to post this. It looks so damn good. Especially the left part of the collar. They need to work on the right side though and make it look like this

them not doing that to the right side was what stopped me from ordering my jacket with the wings, i just went the rounded asymmetrical shape with my modified backside
I writed fahdi a message to improve the design on the right site for the wings style collar. I dont know if this will happen on my replacement jacket but if not im also happy with the design they created on the photo ive posted. Its not perfect but it looks miles clear of what i got on the first jacket i received. I will go to a tailor anyway and let them change the zippers and maybe they can also fix the right site of the collar so it will look like it should be.

well the new design that you just posted in here is more in line with the collar shape of Jacket #1. Obviously nothing wrong with that shape i think it looks awesome. I just personally know a lot of people like that Little buldge that’s created from the zipper being stitched into the shearling. The only real difference between these collars is various little shape discrepancies that add up to make them look different. This obviously happened because Eulyn is human and can’t accurately make a perfectly replicable shape for every jacket

this is an example of jacket 1:

Yeah i know what you mean. Personally for me i dont care about the buldge. I really like what they created and would be very happy with that shape for the collar of my jacket.

Hi yall, little out of it in this thread (as much as I'd love to research 100+ pages of this thread), but what is our current "definitive" guide to getting this replica jacket? Like what is the best version currently offered (with links).

If anyone could take up the challenge, list out prices "high>low" or "best>least accurate".

Well if we are talking what’s currently available in the market, the jacket made by Suzhadi is hands down the most accurate and it’s not even close in my eyes. They offer two versions, a brown one (how it would look essentially brand new) and a black-ish one (to match the coloring it took on in the show due to weathering). It costs $210. I would suggest the black one as they’re pretty much the only ones who do this. Other than them is Magnoli . I don’t really like their version because the shade of the lyrca on the sides is strange, and they use faux shearling that doesn’t look right. On top of that, it’s 200 bucks more than Suzhadis. WSL makes one too that a lot of people seem to enjoy. At this point though the only one i could strongly recommend is Suzhadis. What you’re looking for in an accurate UGG Replica is most definitely too much to type here. The jacket has the smallest of details that this forum has been discussing for the better half of 8 years. Is there any specific questions on an area(s) of the jacket you have?

What about the suzahdi The Grimes Jacket - Limited Edition

I know that the black one and the other, but it looks like there's this version now.
