Any new updates on this? That cannon is really taking shape and I'd like to see how far he's come with it.

That cannon is way wack bro but in a good way. Its crazy man I'm gonna have to go looking at toy guns again and btw I feel sorry for your next prey because that will not only blow them apart they will be dust haha.

Hey have you thought about using a cheap RC controller out of a toy car to give you the ability to move it around? ... I uses servos but they require a laptop to run, if you get a toy car with a remote, it will have a smaller compact version, then it would be way cool!

Wow. So it's been a long while since I last posted on this project. It just ended up being one of those things that I sat aside and never got back around to until now. So, I hereby revive this Wal-Mart Plasma Cannon with a minor update.

I figured it was time to start up again when I found it while doing some fall cleaning. Not much to show off at the moment. I've added a few minor details using bits of old model kits and computer parts. I thought I'd add some of the tech feel other cannons seemed to have. I'll continue adding to it and finish sculpting some details so it matches my "Rattlesnake" bio. At least I'm back in business . . .

Awesome idea! I've seen a few others make their cannons out of toy guns, but the one that you picked out certainly has an interesting design. The work that you've done so far is amazing! I love the detail on the back end that you've sculpted! Thanks for sharing!

You can't go wrong with the price! It saves a bit of time to get the basic shape. A little bit of customization and even though someone has bought the same toy gun, it would still be customized for each hunter.

Hey, appreciate the feedback. It'll very much be in the same vain as the bio I made a few months back. Matching the imaginary hunter in my head. I'm glad to be back at it and will keep the thread updated as much as possible.

That's a very smart idea there. It even looks like an actual used Plasma Cannon by a Predator. Just needs some fixing and all, as you listed already.

That looks as if it could easily be from the Pred planet! Keep up the good work and can't wait to see it completed ;)

Now I'm going to have to run out and look for some badass toy guns, and blow the dust off my LED and soldering iron.
