Ok, after lurking a while and trying to read through and search this thread I have some questions: Has anyone tried doing the light up parts on their costume with any of the UV reactive or Glow in the Dark fabric paints?
My bellydance troupe is doing a TRON themed dance performance and we're doing basic black yoga pants and asymetrical tops and need to figure out if UV reactive paint, Glow in the Dark paint, or reflective trim (Avery, the high gloss reflective, or the 3M reflective silver sew on trims) would work best. Our outfits are fairly closefitting so I'm concerned with rippling. Also, we have 2 performance spaces: one is indoor under floresent during day, and one is indoor at a theater w/ UV lights available.
Thoughts? There's NO way we can do real light up costumes and the show is in July.
thanks!, Cherie
