Tombstone Val Kilmer / Doc Holliday Costume

They don't, that's something I'd have to add. The fronts are pleated so if I remove the pleats and press the fabric flat, that SHOULD leave enough extra material to add accurate pockets before attaching a new waistband, but I can't know for sure without seeing a pair in person. I'll only attempt it if I'm able to find any for sale with a good return policy in case I can immediately tell it won't work once I get them in hand haha.
People have NO IDEA what we go through to make our wardrobe/costumes accurate. Ungrateful bastards...................

Hey Cammeron
Those are very cool looking pants, but I don't think they have the front pocket like Doc's which makes it hard to carry the Colt Lightning in the pants (although Doc does keep his Lightning in his upper right vest pocket at times).
Hey Cameron, I just thought of something else about these tux pants, are they built like the old frontier pants where they come up to your bellybutton or do they sit on your hips like regular pants? If they sit on the hip they are not going to look quite right.

That's something else I'll have to try to find out. The vintage-waistband will be thicker than the one they come with though so that will help a bit.

So, while I was pleased with my holster & chest rig I made from London Jacks Leather template, after reviewing some more references and screeb grabs, I decided to make some more modifications. Here is the finished (?) product, with a 3D printed Lightning in the holster. I shaped the back plate to be a little more accurate and also referenced some of the strap connections. Swapped out two of the Chicago screw connections for punch hole strap connections. Also realized that the actual belly strap was one single piece that went through two loops on the back of the holster. Tried my hand at some tooling. For now, mine doesn't hang as low as Kilmer's, but over time I'll find my comfort placement. Not great, but I'm pleased. For now.

Next, I'll be finishing the 3D printed Lightning and SAA, with some sanding, filling, and air brushing.

As always, any input, guidance, and suggestions are always welcomed!!!

Jason

Hey Guys,

No new news on the home front of Doc's wardrobe as I'm still dealing with the idiots on the fabric for one of Doc's vests. Actually, it's for the lining and back of one vest and the lining of his black jacket. Also, I haven't found any fabric for the cloak yet, but then again to be honest with you I have kind of gotten sidetracked with a few other projects that are taking place.

Hang in there, I will eventually get this thing flowing :)
