Here's a message received by another guy . It's exactly the same one I received over two weeks ago, closer to three weeks. I call BS . So another two weeks.. WTF .

We explained in our most recent update that we have paused invitations for US customers until we have stocked Amazon US. We are working hard to ensure this happens as quickly as possible and as soon as we've been able to stock them, we will begin sending out US invitations once again. We hope that this will be within the next week or two so it won't be long now!

It is a canned answer. Chris B said he’s going to stop guessing because he’s always wrong and it just pi$$es people off. They just don’t know when Amazon will release them (and have no control over them) so instead of saying any time now, or in a couple of days they put out this pre-written response. I’m not sure this is better than no reply at all.

This canned message isn't helping out either. It's pissing off people anyway . I bet people won't want to buy any other Trek products from them in the future due to this debacle .

They may not want to do anymore in the future and CBS/Paramount may be reluctant to okay any other Trek products from them.

I’m sure (I hope) it’s a matter of when, not if. There’s no reason not to believe TWC when they say 2,400 Tricorders were sent to Amazon, and their U.S. warehouse is at capacity waiting to send more.

According to a post I saw the other day another shipment was already here in addition to the 2400 . So where and when ? How many do they need before going live ? 10,000 .

I don't agree with either of you. The World supply chain is going through turmoil right now with the tariffs. TWC will do more ST related stuff and people will buy. Will there be a few disgruntles that proclaim..."I'm not ever buying from TWC again because I didn't get a tricorder a.month ago like some people did and for the same price. Yes there will be. But it won't be a large amount and those proclaiming that don't really mean it anyways...lol

Paramount is just not gonna say....WAND we are not gonna let you do anymore Star Trek stuff, Because People at the rpf forums are mad at you for not having them at Amazon US fast enough.

Don't know if other RPF members have other pop culture items that they're waiting for, but I will say that TWC on-going updates are very much appreciated even if they don't always have all the answers for things outside their control. I'm waiting on a variety of pre-order items, where I have prepaid, and the radio silence from most other manufacturers about timing and tariffs is deafening. Some other firms just shut down when things are uncertain; TWC is unique in that they do engage constantly with their customers. Just my two cents.

The point I was making was almost 3 weeks I received that same message . Now almost 3 weeks later the same message . Seriously. So next week or the end of this week they will send out the same message .

Don’t buy them from eBay. We have stock in Amazon waiting to become ready to ship we have more stock flowing in to that bottle neck. As soon as we have more information about the stock we will send out another email, while we have no information we will not be constantly updating everyone with messages to say that we have nothing to say. As soon as we have some news we will email and message with that wonderful news.

I for one hope they don't stop doing trek stuff, I'll buy everything they put out.

Whats the big deal? They simply don't know when, that's pretty plain and simple, no use getting upset that they don't know, I'm pretty sure they would have no problem telling people if they did, and it doesn't do any good to keep pestering them, that's what they will remember when they conciser doing another Trek item is how trek fans relentlessly pelted them and there was nothing they could do to make it any faster.

They have stated that there were already 2400 here plus another batch that came last week . So why the delay in posting them on Amazon ?

How about one statement that says we have sent out X number of trics to Amazon, but we do not know when they will be available for purchase because that is Amazon's decision and we have no control over that?

They said its out of their hands , they are no longer in control, Amazon has taken control of the stock and they are distributing it to US locations, so now, Amazon decides when they become available.

Is there a specific order of the discs placement in the tricorder btw? Or do people just add them up as they please? I've never really looked into it.
I'm very impressed by all of the options in the software! But proper scared to break these little directional toggle switches.

Just say it is out of their hands and up to Amazon, some people will be pissed with that reply but oh well
