The Three-Engine Blockade Runner Project

Dave, I was so saddened to hear of your loss. Unfortunately, not the only person I know who lost everything. I'm glad that you and your family are okay, but I can't imagine losing everything.
If you need any model parts to mold, let me know.
Thank you. In a stroke of luck, I loaned all my nernie mold masters to my friends at Tippet Studios a few years back and they made molds from them for use on the models they were building for The Mandalorean. They had returned my masters, which were lost in the fire along with all my molds, but Tippet still has the molds! So I'll be able to make new nernie masters from them and then new molds.

I've started the process of reprinting the 3d printed parts. They're being printed on a Formlabs Form 4 printer. The detail (and speed) of that printer are astounding!

As sad as the loss of the original was (in addition to everything else; my most sincere condolences!), it's amazing to see your perseverance on this project! It's truly an inspiration to me!

Also a real statement on where we are in this hobby where we can restore a build through the wonder that is 3D printing!

i straight away went to see what this printer was and the price turned my smile upside down......ahhhh the things dreams are made of.!
