I've been on the lookout for the most accurate gray denim shirt since I was pretty disappointed on the one from River island.
I recently got lucky an got hold of a gray denim shirt by Next, the British brand and it's by far the best shirt I've tried. The texture, the denim patina, length, size, overall 5/5 if you ask me.
I emailed Next and asked about the shirt and unfortunately they said it's out of stock and is not expected to return in the near future. If that would change, I would highly recommend that shirt to anyone that's looking for spot on shirt.

New poster announcing the release date just dropped and it looks like business as usual except for new boots!
Chunkier sole without the lugs or contrasting brown sections the elk trackers had, wish I could find this in higher resolution because the sole is visible and that could help.
Also shows that the shirt, likely the same as in the therapy sessions, is blue. Still hard to make out any of that plaid at this resolution though.

Looks like a one piece cup sole. I would assume hunting/hiking boot again, but its not the same Elk Tracker from the first season.

Just spent maybe too long looking at parkas haha
I think they bought this parka and then heavily modified it. I’ve looked high and low and nothing else has chest yokes above the angled breast pockets.
Looks like they removed the Velcro sections and then added a snap. Then replaced the front buttons as well as the fur with a darker shaggier alternative, or the collar is just very dirty and distressed.
I could be wrong, in fact I hope I am haha, but considering the work they did on the Fjallraven shirt last season none of this seems out of the realm of possibility.
The black plastic zipper seems to match as well as the seams. And in the picture I posted last page of Joel shutting the gate you can see a pocket flap in about the right position for the hip pockets on this ll bean one. Unless someone finds an exact match I think this is what they used.
The scarf looks like it’s a box pleated knit, but I haven’t found a single thing close. They may have knit it with this pattern or a similar one custom.
Oh how I wish they just bought these clothes off the peg, at least in the other picture released it looks like Joel is just wearing a white t shirt and jeans! I’ll cosplay that one outfit for sure

I don't necessarily think that this is a one-off jacket though. In the game, he isn't wearing a jacket like this - he would be wearing his Flint and Tinder jacket if they chose to stick to game/previous season accuracy etc.
So that's why I don't think it's entirely custom made.

If the coat is custom I found this Etsy shop that has done some of the jackets from the show and game so they may be willing to make it or will be making it eventually. Also this jacket is a much cheaper alternative the the actual brand one.

That tracks, I figured with the multi colored yarn for both the scarf and Ellie’s beanie those would be custom. The coat being custom is an interesting choice since it’s hard to beat mass production practicality for cold weather gear. But then again it is about to go through… a lot. Custom makes sense for needing extras.
Still it makes sense, they probably leaned towards practicality over game accuracy judging by the fact that Joel and Abby have very different outfits than the game. Which is fair, it was always weird to me they didn’t have more hard wearing gear for the deep winter in the game.
I’ve been speaking to the seller of this coat and they’re willing to modify it to have only buttons and no snaps. But the price and the fact I would probably not need such a coat have made it hard to pull the trigger over going with Jameel instead.
This parka though I think is much more practical, I want more pictures to come out so we can see the material better, since it almost looks like oil cloth or waxed canvas. Hopefully there’s interest and Jameel or Magnoli can make it.

Also I took a look at this Etsy shop and I wouldn’t go with them, I’ve bought Doctor Who items from similar sellers and the quality is never up to snuff even if the price is good. Already been at work dissecting the broken glass of Season 2 close up shot just released!
Any thoughts? Not too sure about the shape. The bottom hole is difficult to dissect, because I’m not sure that hazed area at the bottom of the hole is the thickness of the hole, or the bottom of the hole is the edge. If that makes any sense.
Let me know, so I can get these manufactured ASAP!
