This is perfect.
I’m trying to get the ArtCrist Ellie backpack, but I don’t know if Fernando is willing to do a custom one.

I might have to buy his, and get someone to create the SA accurate version by using it as a reference, if I can get the fabric done right.

I would love to see that! I don’t know why but he did change the fabric a while back from a canvas like material to the one it is now

I did speak to him and it seems he is very set on not making custom work. I even offered him a hefty number, and he didn’t budge lol.

More than likely, I’m probably going to get this backpack, find suitable fabric that screen matches the backpack from the show, and then get a custom backpack made.

I can’t imagine it being difficult, but I’ll keep you posted!

Here you go! They are not exactly the same but they are similar and closer then the straps on Fernando’s bag that is closer to the one seen in game

An Ellie project that I actually just finished is her dinosaur book from the museum section. We probably won’t know until season 2 comes out is if they do that section but I really hope they do and we get to see it for real! Just wanted everyone to know that I’m working to get a one off of Ellie’s backpack created.

I’m starting with a vintage 1990s Jansport backpack that I’m going to have dissected and a pattern created, and then have my backpack guy (I got one of those now haha), work to build a 1:1 SA accurate backpack.

If anyone has any fabric recommendations for what they think the screen backpack is made of, and can get me a color match, I’ll weather it and get yards of it so I can get it replicated.

Next week, I’m getting 4K files of TLOU Season 1, so I’ll be able to pull the highest quality stills for references.

I have a little extra info, so funny enough the place I got the reference for Joel’s watch has a close up of Ellie backpack and you can see the fabric much better! I’ll post the images and full video

Hello so her knife is a classic 9'' italian stiletto switchblade but their not made with the ivory inlay like hers does. So you would have to have custom grips made for it

Hey when doing my custom Ellie backpack I found some buckle on Amazon and they look to be the same ones used in the show. Also I know it’s going to take some time to make but if you get more then one made, I would love to buy one from you!
